To understand the timing, Chapter 6 Season 4—Shock ‘N Awesome—began August 7, 2025 and ended November 1, 2025 Eastern Time. It was a Battle Royale season themed around an insect invasion, with new locations and equipment. Fortnitemares took place during the season’s closing weeks. Both the event and that season have ended.

Epic Support’s general instructions for Fortnite quests are to launch an experience, open Quests from the lobby, then play the relevant experience to complete the quests available there. Quest availability varies by experience, and quests commonly grant XP, level-ups, or cosmetics.

No. Fortnitemares 2025 ended November 1, 2025, and Chapter 6 Season 4 ended on the same date in Eastern Time. Epic’s Fortnite news page also lists a separate Fortnitemares 2026 announcement; that is a different event, not a continuation of the 2025 event described here.
