Eight levels, including four haunted houses
The game has eight levels. Four are unique haunted-house mazes, each designed around the personality of the ghost haunting that house: Blinky, Inky, Pinky, or Clyde. Google developed the haunted-house mazes in partnership with Bandai Namco Entertainment, which Google identifies as PAC-MAN’s parent company. Why did Google make a PAC-MAN Doodle?
The 2025 edition marked 45 years of PAC-MAN with a seasonal twist. It also builds on Google’s history of interactive Doodles: Google identifies its May 21, 2010 PAC-MAN Doodle as its first interactive Doodle game experience. The 2025 version distinguishes itself with its Halloween setting and four ghost-themed haunted-house mazes. Google’s 2025 announcement · Google Doodles: The Story and Evolution of Doodles
