Mantis is a Strategist who supports her team with targeted healing, damage and movement boosts, crowd control, and a mobile ultimate. The key to playing her well is balancing those support abilities against her Life Orb supply: land critical hits with Life Energy Blast to replenish an orb, then spend orbs where they can change a fight.

The same profile lists Life Energy Blast at 55 damage per round; treat these as its listed values, not permanent constants.

Healing Flower
Healing Flower targets an ally and applies an immediate heal followed by healing over time. The official profile lists 60 immediate healing, then 12 plus 3% of the target’s maximum health per second for eight seconds, with healing lasting up to 16 seconds. Use it on an ally who needs help staying in the fight, and keep landing critical hits so you can replenish the orb you spend.

Allied Inspiration
Allied Inspiration costs one orb and gives a targeted ally an 8% damage boost and a 1 m/s movement boost for eight seconds, up to 16 seconds. Apply it as a teammate commits to an engagement or an important ability window, when the short-lived boost can contribute immediately.
Natural Anger
Natural Anger costs one orb and raises Mantis’s damage by 12% for eight seconds. Recasting refreshes its duration rather than stacking the boost. Use it when you have a safe angle to contribute damage; avoid spending an orb on yourself if a teammate urgently needs healing or a buff.

When should you use Spore Slumber?
Spore Slumber sedates the nearest enemy for a listed 3.5 seconds and has a 15-second cooldown. An illusion appears, and an ally can attack it to wake the affected enemy. Use the sleep to interrupt or delay an immediate threat, such as an enemy pressuring a vulnerable teammate. Tell nearby allies the target is asleep so they do not accidentally wake it before the team is ready.

Nature’s Favor gives Mantis movement speed when she has not been injured and grants healing over time when she consumes Life Orbs. The official profile lists three seconds to leave combat, 7.5 m/s out-of-combat movement, and 12.5 healing per second for eight seconds after orb use. Breaking contact and moving through cover can help her reposition and take advantage of the passive; avoid drifting so far from teammates that they cannot benefit from her support.

How do you get value from Soul Resurgence?
Soul Resurgence creates an eight-second field centered on Mantis, with a listed 15-meter radius. The profile lists 150 healing, a one-time heal of 200 to Mantis and allies, a 3 m/s movement boost, and conversion of excess healing into bonus health at 100%, up to a listed 150 maximum-health conversion. Its energy cost is listed as 4,300.
Because the field moves with Mantis, activate it when nearby teammates can stay within it—such as during a coordinated push or while the group withstands an enemy attack. Its value falls if allies are scattered beyond the field.

An official August 2025 balance post documented a then-new Vibrant Vitality Team-Up with Groot and Loki, a 10% Team-Up healing increase, and changes to Healing Flower, Life Energy Blast, and Soul Resurgence. That post is historical context; the current in-game roster and ability tooltips are the better guide to what is available now.
Which numbers should you treat as current?
The official profile was retrieved on October 8, 2026, but it does not show a clear patch or version label. Its ability values and Team-Up details describe what the profile lists at that time, not guaranteed values for every future update. Check the in-game tooltips for the live version you are playing. The profile’s general description says Mantis uses her abilities to “anchor any team she fights alongside.”
