To play Blunderville in Final Fantasy XIV, reach level 15, unlock the Gold Saucer, and complete the event quest Just Crowning Around. Register with the Blunderville registrar to enter a show: challengers race through three stages, and everyone receives Manderville Gold Saucer Fame (MGF) after the show. Spend MGF with the trader in Blunderville Square on event rewards. The current North American run is October 7–27, 2026, PDT.
When is the Blunderville event?
The current North American event runs from Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 1:00 a.m. through Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 7:59 a.m. PDT, according to the North American Lodestone announcement. MGF can be earned only during the event period. Square Enix says future runs will return as special events at irregular intervals, so there is no fixed rerun schedule. Players who completed the event quest in a previous run can resume the collaboration content.

How do you unlock Blunderville?
- Reach level 15 on your character.
- Complete the Gold Saucer access quest It Could Happen to You.
- At the Gold Saucer, speak with Lewena at X:4.8, Y:6.1 and complete the limited-time event quest Just Crowning Around.
The event guide lists level 15 and completion of one of the qualifying main scenario quests as prerequisites for Gold Saucer access, but the quest names are not specified in its available text. Check the live in-game quest guide if you need to identify which one applies to your character. The event’s unlock and returning-player details are in the official collaboration guide.

How do you join and play a Blunderville show?
Register for a show
Speak with the Blunderville registrar at the Gold Saucer. Registered players wait in Lobbyville. A show starts when 24 challengers have gathered or automatically after a set amount of time; rewards are adjusted according to the number of challengers. A party can register through its leader, including a cross-world party. To enter as a premade alliance, all 24 players must be present. These mechanics are described in the Patch 6.51 notes.
#1 Best Overall
- Adventure awaits you beyond the horizon in FINAL FANTASY XIV.
- This product is a digital 60-Day Game Time Card for FINAL FANTASY XIV Online. It serves as a payment option that allows players to add 60 days of game time to their FFXIV account at the Standard subscription rate, subject to account limits. Both the game and game time are required to play.
- This product can be redeemed on service accounts registered with the Windows, Mac, PlayStation, or Steam versions of FINAL FANTASY XIV Online. However, it cannot be redeemed on service accounts that have only the XBOX or Nintendo Switch 2 versions registered.
Advance through the stages
A show has three stages. Complete each stage’s objective to qualify for the next. Players who advance wait in spectator mode until the next round; eliminated players may watch the rest of the show or leave through the Blunderville menu. Stage ranking is based on each player’s individual progress, including when players enter as a party.
Square Enix describes Blunderville as a battle royale in which up to 24 players compete in obstacle courses. The official mechanics information does not establish a universal optimal strategy for individual stages, so focus on the objective in front of you and qualifying for the next round rather than relying on an unverified shortcut.
Rank #2
How do you earn and spend MGF?
All challengers receive Manderville Gold Saucer Fame after a show. The amount depends on final rank, and the event guide does not give a fixed payout for each placing. Find the MGF trader in Blunderville Square at X:3.8, Y:3.1 and exchange your balance for rewards listed in the current guide.
