In Patch 7.4, the weekly capped tomestone currency is Allagan tomestones of mnemonics: a level 100 Disciple of War or Magic can earn 450 per week and hold up to 2,000. For a practical route, take the daily roulette rewards that suit your role and available time, then earn the remaining amount from eligible duties. The official reward list totals 240 mnemonics if you complete every listed daily option, leaving 210 to reach the weekly cap.
How to reach the 450 weekly cap
- Check your eligibility: you must be level 100 and playing a Disciple of War or Magic job to earn mnemonics.
- Start with the daily rewards that fit your schedule. Main Scenario and Alliance Raid roulettes each award 50; Expert awards 40. Higher listed rewards can help, but do not guarantee the shortest elapsed time because queues and duty lengths vary.
- Use other daily options you are willing and able to queue for. The listed roulette and daily challenge rewards add up to 240 if you complete all of them.
- Earn the remaining 210 with eligible duties that award mnemonics. Check your total as you go; once you have earned 450 for the week, further eligible rewards will not increase that weekly total.
- Spend or save your currency. You can hold up to 2,000 mnemonics. Exchange them for gear with Zircon in Solution Nine at X:8.6, Y:13.5; Theone, at X:8.5, Y:13.6, handles gear enhancement.

Daily roulette rewards in Patch 7.4
| Activity | Mnemonics | Practical note |
|---|---|---|
| Main Scenario | 50 | One of the two highest listed rewards; choose it if the duty duration works for you. |
| Alliance Raid | 50 | Tied for the highest listed reward. |
| Expert | 40 | Requires average item level 735 to register. |
| Leveling | 20 | A useful part of the daily set. |
| Normal Raids | 20 | A useful part of the daily set. |
| Daily Challenge: Frontline | 20 | PvP option for players who want to queue for Frontline. |
| Level Cap Dungeons | 15 | Requires average item level 705 to register. |
| Trials | 15 | Additional daily reward. |
| Mentor | 10 | Requires eligibility for Mentor Roulette. |
The 240 total is the sum of the rewards in Square Enix’s Patch 7.4 roulette and daily challenge table; it is not a time estimate. The notes publish reward amounts and the stated item-level requirements, but no duty completion-time averages or tomestones-per-minute comparisons. Your quickest route depends on your queue, role, preferred content, and how long each duty takes you.
Which activities should you prioritize?
If you want to maximize listed reward per completion, start with Main Scenario and Alliance Raid, then consider Expert if you meet its item-level requirement. Add the lower-reward options that fit your preferences and circumstances. Frontline is the listed PvP choice; Mentor Roulette is only available if you qualify.
#1 Best Overall
- Adventure awaits you beyond the horizon in FINAL FANTASY XIV.
- This product is a digital 60-Day Game Time Card for FINAL FANTASY XIV Online. It serves as a payment option that allows players to add 60 days of game time to their FFXIV account at the Standard subscription rate, subject to account limits. Both the game and game time are required to play.
- This product can be redeemed on service accounts registered with the Windows, Mac, PlayStation, or Steam versions of FINAL FANTASY XIV Online. However, it cannot be redeemed on service accounts that have only the XBOX or Nintendo Switch 2 versions registered.
Do not treat the reward table as a ranking of speed. A 50-tomestone roulette is not automatically faster than an activity with a smaller reward: queue times and completion lengths differ, and the official notes do not establish a universally fastest activity.

Patch 7.4 introduced mnemonics as the weekly capped currency, with a 450-per-week earning limit and a 2,000 carrying limit. The patch removed the weekly limit on mathematics while leaving its 2,000 maximum carry unchanged. Duties and trials that previously awarded mathematics now award mnemonics. Heliometry can no longer be earned; existing holdings can be exchanged for mathematics through Auriana in Mor Dhona. Aesthetics was removed. Poetics remain obtainable from duties up to level 90 and certain roulettes. These rules are version-specific, so older cap guides may refer to currencies or reward systems that have since changed.
