To raise an operator’s Trust, assign them to the Dijiang Control Nexus and give them gifts that match their preferences or the current Popular tag. Assignment builds Trust passively over time; gifts are the active option. Trust unlocks Ability Matrix skills and profile information, but the official tutorial does not say that Trust itself grants a flat stat bonus.
Two ways to raise Trust

The official sources do not give comparable Trust-per-time or Trust-per-gift rates, so they do not establish which method is numerically faster. Use both: keep priority operators assigned, and give them suitable gifts when available.

A practical routine for raising Trust
- Prioritize operators. Assign the operators you want to develop to the Control Nexus. Trust builds while they are assigned and is credited when you return to Dijiang.
- Check gift preferences. Before spending gifts, check the operator’s preferences. The official tutorial says matching gifts raise Trust more than other gifts; it identifies Stock Redistribution as a source of gifts.
- Check the current Popular tag. The Arknights: Endfield Team said the tag changes with each version update and provides an increased Trust bonus similar to a preferred gift. Recheck it after an update rather than relying on a previous version’s Popular choices.
- Use the in-game gift display to confirm results. A community-maintained Trust page reports that a preferred gift and a Popular gift each receive a 10× multiplier, and that matching both does not add another multiplier. The reviewed official material does not confirm those numbers or the stacking rule, so treat them as community-reported and follow the current client display.
What Trust unlocks—and what it does not establish about stats
The official tutorial says, “Build the operators’ trust to unlock Ability Matrix skills and reveal more profile data.” It also notes that Trust affects operator interactions aboard Dijiang. These are the confirmed benefits to focus on when deciding whom to prioritize.

Trust and Talent Nodes are described separately in the tutorial: Talent Nodes improve operator performance in other areas. The reviewed official material does not establish a general direct stat bonus from Trust itself. If a particular Ability Matrix or Talent Node has a stat effect, rely on that node’s in-game description rather than assuming Trust automatically raises base stats.

Gift caps, thresholds, and other community-reported details
A community-maintained Trust page reports that each gift gives 2 Trust points, preferred or Popular gifts use a 10× multiplier, and gifts that match both do not receive a further multiplier. It also reports a daily gift cap of 105 Trust points and diminishing gift effectiveness as the daily amount rises. These figures are not confirmed in the official sources reviewed; check the in-game display for current values.
The same community source lists Friend as the default Trust level, Close at 300 points, and Trusting at 1,500 points. It associates higher Trust with more profile data, Baker topics, and better operator gifts. Treat these thresholds and rewards as secondary-source information, not official guarantees.

Can you gift an operator who is already at max Trust?
Yes. An official version communication dated August 22, 2026, says max-Trust operators can still receive gifts so players can complete gifting tasks. If an operator is capped, you can still give gifts for that task purpose.
