To redeem a Roblox toy or virtual-item code, sign in to the Roblox account that should receive the item, open the Roblox code redemption page, enter the code, and select Redeem. Then check the account’s Inventory in the category that matches the item.
Redeem a Roblox toy code in four steps
- Find the code. Roblox says Jazwares action-figure codes may be printed on a token on the package front or on a code card attached inside the plastic packaging. Nerf blaster and Monopoly codes are on an insert card inside the package. If the code is covered, gently scratch off the covering to reveal it. See Roblox Support’s toy and virtual-item instructions.
- Sign in to the right account. Use the account that should receive the item. Roblox specifically advises users to make sure they are logged in to the account on which they want to redeem the code.
- Enter and redeem it. Open Roblox’s redemption page, enter the code, and select Redeem.
- Find the item. Open your Inventory and check the category appropriate to the reward. Roblox lists hats, backpacks, heads, and accessories as examples; the correct category depends on the item.
What to know before redeeming
- Each toy or virtual-item code can be redeemed to an individual account only once.
- If you already own the item, Roblox says the code can be shared with another user.
- Items obtained through these codes cannot be traded or sold.
- You do not need to buy a toy if you already have a code.
Toy codes are not the same as gift cards
Roblox’s redemption page handles gift-card, virtual-item, and promo codes, but their rules are not interchangeable. Roblox’s gift-card FAQ generally directs gift-card redemption to a web browser and says it is unavailable in the standard mobile app and on consoles, with a Samsung Galaxy app exception. That guidance is specifically about gift cards; Roblox’s toy-code instructions do not give a separate device-compatibility list for toy codes.
Likewise, Roblox’s U.S. gift-card terms address gift-card credit, minors’ consent, and gift-card expiration; those terms should not be applied to toy virtual-item codes. The terms state that gift cards do not expire. For gift-card entry errors, Roblox suggests checking commonly confused characters such as 0/O, 1/I, 2/Z, 5/S, 6/G or Q, and 8/B. This is gift-card troubleshooting, not an established explanation for every toy-code error. See the gift-card FAQ and U.S. gift-card terms.
If the code does not work
First confirm you are signed in to the intended account and have entered the code as shown on the package or card. If the issue persists, use Roblox’s toy and virtual-item code support page for guidance. The character-confusion tips in Roblox’s gift-card FAQ are specifically for gift-card entry and are not confirmed as a universal fix for toy codes.
