For most new players, rerolling in Wuthering Waves is not worth the repeated opening. Consider it only if a specific character on the current Convene banner is important enough to you to justify starting another account. Check the live banner, beginner guarantees, and new-player rewards in your game first: the advice and guarantees in older reroll guides may no longer apply.

The detailed walkthrough located for this process is Prydwen’s guide, last updated February 11, 2024. It describes creating a new account, progressing through the opening story until Convene becomes available, making pulls, and repeating with another account if desired. Treat that as a historical outline, not a verified Version 3.7 button-by-button procedure: current login options and the precise unlock point have not been established by the available official information.

- Check the live game first. Review the current Convene banners and the new-player rewards, mail, and event notices on your account. Confirm the target character is actually available and note how much time remains on the banner.
- Decide whether a new account is worthwhile. The 2024 guide describes using a new email for each attempt, but that method and the availability of guest login or account reset options are not verified for Version 3.7. Use only the account-creation options the game currently provides; do not rely on email aliasing, deletion tricks, or other unconfirmed workarounds.
- Progress until Convene is available. Follow the current in-game tutorial and story. The exact point at which pulls become available has not been confirmed for Version 3.7, so follow the prompts rather than assuming an old guide’s unlock point still matches.
- Use the pulls and rewards actually shown. Check the banner and its details before spending currency. If you do not get the character you wanted, weigh the effort of another legitimate account and opening against simply continuing with the account you already have.
Prydwen’s 2024 guide gives conflicting estimates of about 25–35 minutes and 35–45 minutes to reach pulls. Neither estimate is verified for Version 3.7, so do not treat either as a current time commitment.
What to check before you decide
- The specific target: Is the featured Resonator one you genuinely want for your playstyle or intended team, or are you reacting to an old tier list or guide?
- Banner time remaining: A short remaining window may leave little room for repeated attempts. Confirm the end time in the game.
- Current starting resources: Inspect the new-player mail, events, and beginner Convene options on your account. Free pulls and guarantees can change; use the current descriptions rather than figures from an older guide.
- Replay friction: Account setup and replaying the opening are part of every attempt. Current Version 3.7 timing has not been established.
- Your willingness to manage another account: If you would rather start playing than repeat the opening, continuing on your first account is the straightforward choice.
Are the old beginner guarantees still valid?
No current Version 3.7 guarantee should be inferred from the 2024 guide. Prydwen’s February 11, 2024 walkthrough described a new-player event and two beginner or selector Convene routes that could provide three 5-star characters through event and guarantee routes. That is historical information, not confirmation that those banners, conditions, or rewards are available now. There is also no established current reroll success rate, expected number of attempts, or time-to-Convene figure in the sources cited here. A precise break-even calculation would therefore be misleading.

Keep rerolling within the game’s rules
Kuro Games’ Fair Play Policy, dated May 20, 2024, says that using illegal third-party tools—including cheating programs, accelerators, and macro commands—to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. The policy also prohibits account sale, purchase, or transfer. The available information does not establish that ordinary rerolling itself is prohibited, but avoid automation, account trading, and unsupported exploits.
