Before you begin, decide what “good enough” means. A named standard-banner character, a particular role such as a damage dealer or support, or simply a playable account are all valid targets. Without a target, it is easy to spend hours replacing an account that was already strong enough.
How to reroll in Zenless Zone Zero
What you need to know first
Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) ties progress to a specific HoYoverse account. The HoYoverse Help Center account article, updated August 26, 2025, explains that an account can be identified by an email, a social login, or an in-game UID. In practice, each reroll attempt normally means creating or using a separate HoYoverse account; current reroll guides say guest accounts are no longer available.

Do not assume that changing an email alias, pressing a different sign-in button, or switching platforms has created a clean profile. HoYoverse warns that different login methods can represent different accounts. If the game opens an old profile, stop and check the account identity before playing through the tutorial again.
Step-by-step ZZZ reroll
- Choose the server first. Select the region or server where you intend to play permanently. HoYoLAB’s Zenless Zone Zero PlayStation 5 FAQ, dated July 2, 2024, states that different servers cannot exchange account data. Devices using the same server can synchronize through one HoYoverse ID, but a profile on another server is not a portable backup.
- Prepare a fresh HoYoverse account. Sign out of the account currently loaded in the game, then create or log in to the new account. Record which email or social method belongs to each attempt; otherwise it is easy to lose track of a keeper.
- Complete the opening tutorial. Follow the story and combat instructions until Signal Search is unlocked. Published 2025 guides estimate approximately 25–35 minutes on one route and 30–45 minutes on another. Loading times, dialogue choices, platform, and version changes can move the actual time outside those ranges.
- Collect the available currency and tickets. Claim the beginner and launch rewards currently displayed in your account, then spend the pulls on the banners you have decided to evaluate. Reward totals change with campaigns and server dates, so do not rely on an old video’s count.
- Evaluate against your preset target. Keep the profile if it has the character or combination you wanted. If not, sign out and repeat with another new HoYoverse account. Delete or archive your tracking notes only after you have confirmed which account is the keeper.
- Bind and protect the keeper. Confirm the email or supported login method, write down the UID, and verify that the intended server is shown before progressing beyond the reroll stage.
How long should a ZZZ reroll take?
The two published estimates—25–35 minutes from Prydwen and 30–45 minutes from Icy Veins, both cited for 2025—describe reaching the first meaningful pulls, not building a complete team. A reroll cycle that includes login, patching, cut-scenes, and account verification may take longer. Because every attempt requires a new account, ZZZ is the least convenient of the three games to reroll repeatedly.
Are ZZZ rates good enough to justify rerolling?
The Prydwen guide cited in the available material lists 0.3% and 0.6% S-rank rates for the S-rank outcomes it covers. Those figures illustrate why a specific standard-banner target can require many attempts, but they are not a promise about every banner or future version. Read the in-game details panel for the banner you are actually rolling on.
Use a simple decision rule: reroll for one clearly defined standard character or account feature, not for an abstract “perfect” start. If your target appears, stop immediately. Continuing to chase a marginally better opening can cost more time than the advantage is worth.
ZZZ account and server pitfalls
- Wrong login: If the game loads an unexpected profile, sign out and identify the exact HoYoverse login method before continuing. A different button may point to a different account rather than reset the old one.
- Wrong server: A strong result on the wrong server cannot be merged into the intended server. Verify the server on the title or account screen before investing in the profile.
- Untracked accounts: Keep a private list of the email or social method, UID, server, and result for each attempt. Never rely on memory when several accounts are open.
- Over-rerolling: The tutorial time and low S-rank odds make indefinite attempts inefficient. Set a maximum number of cycles or a time limit before you start.

Nexon’s support guidance also warns that guest data is fragile. Uninstalling the game, changing devices, or resetting application data can remove a guest profile. Treat an unlinked guest account as temporary data, not as a backup.

Step-by-step Blue Archive reroll
- Start with a guest profile if possible. This keeps your permanent login separate while you test the opening summons. The exact guest option and availability can vary by platform and version.
- Finish the opening tutorial. Play until the game’s summon features are available, then claim the tickets and currency currently offered to the account. Event campaigns change the number of pulls and the banners available, so use the live client as the authority.
- Inspect the result before linking. Decide whether the students and roles meet your preset target. Do not link a disposable profile to your main login until you are satisfied.
- Open the reset command. From the lobby, tap Menu in the upper-right, choose Account, choose Reset Account, and tap Continue.
- Enter the requested confirmation text. The client asks you to type the displayed confirmation before it will proceed. Enter it exactly, then confirm the reset.
- Repeat or keep the profile. A reset returns the account to a new-start state. If the result is poor, repeat the tutorial and summons. If it is good, use the linking process below before leaving the account.
The irreversible part of a Blue Archive reset
Nexon’s support forum states: “Once the reset is complete, all game data will be immediately deleted and cannot be recovered.” This is a destructive reset, not a temporary undo. Check the account name, platform, and result one more time before entering the confirmation text. Do not use Reset Account to troubleshoot a login problem unless you are certain the profile is expendable.
Link a successful Blue Archive account
When you decide to keep the profile, open Menu → Account → Link Account and attach it to a supported login. Nexon says linking protects the profile and allows recovery after reinstalling or changing devices. Confirm the link succeeded by signing out and back in only when you are ready; while testing, avoid clearing the app or uninstalling because an unlinked guest save may disappear.
If you play on both Steam and mobile, review Default Account Settings so the intended game data is selected. Nexon notes that resetting an account also deletes its default-account settings, so check this setting again after a reset or platform change.

Blue Archive reroll mistakes
- Resetting the wrong profile: Verify the lobby account before opening the reset command, especially after switching between Steam and mobile.
- Assuming an old pull count still applies: Beginner rewards and banners are event-driven. Count what the current client grants rather than copying a guide from another campaign.
- Linking too early: A linked account may not behave like a disposable guest profile. Finish evaluating the rolls first, then link the keeper.
- Deleting the app to reroll: Use the in-game reset instead. Uninstalling or clearing data can remove guest progress without giving you a controlled reset.

Step-by-step Summoners War reroll
- Enter as a guest. Select the guest option offered by the current client. If you see only a linked-login flow, do not improvise by attaching your main account; check the on-screen account options first.
- Complete the opening sequence. Play through the tutorial until summons and the introductory rewards are available. The time and reward schedule are not established as universal figures, so record what your region and version actually provide.
- Claim every current beginner reward. Check the inbox, mission screen, event tab, and any beginner panel shown in your client. Event rewards can expire or be restricted by account age.

Why Summoners War instructions vary
Reports disagree about exact menu labels and how linked accounts persist. A path that worked in one version may be renamed, moved, or removed in another. Do not present a specific “tap these three buttons” sequence as an official guarantee. Use the labels visible in your live client and stop if the screen warns that data will be deleted or replaced.
There is also no current universal summon count supported here. A quoted number from a reroll video may have been tied to a particular event, server region, or promotional window. Treat the live inbox and summon screen as the source of truth.

Summoners War account risks
- Clearing data before binding: A guest profile can be lost when app data is removed or the device changes. Bind a keeper first.
- Accidentally overwriting a keeper: Read account prompts carefully when switching between guest and linked profiles. If the client asks which data to use, choose the profile you have recorded as the keeper.
- Relying on an expired event: Beginner packs and summon campaigns are not permanent. Build your stopping target around the current banners, not an old reward screenshot.

Blue Archive is operationally the quickest to repeat because the reset is built into the account menu, but it has the clearest irreversible warning. ZZZ is the most labor-intensive because every attempt needs a separate account and a full tutorial run. Summoners War can be fast when the current event gives generous early summons, yet its process carries the most uncertainty because the available instructions are community-maintained rather than a current official reset guide.
A practical reroll plan for all three games
Set the target before the first tutorial
Write down one primary target and one fallback. For example, your primary target might be a named standard character; the fallback might be any account with a strong damage dealer plus a useful support. This prevents a near-perfect result from being discarded for a tiny upgrade.
Track each attempt
Use a private note with the account identifier, server, date, banner, result, and whether the profile is linked. For ZZZ, record the exact HoYoverse login method and UID. For Blue Archive, record whether the profile is guest or linked. For Summoners War, record the guest state and the login used when binding. Do not store passwords in an unprotected public note.
Stop when the target appears
Rerolling has diminishing returns. Once an account meets the target you set, bind it and begin normal progression. Chasing a second limited condition can multiply the number of attempts, especially when the first target already gives you the play style you wanted.
Protect the keeper before changing devices
Link the successful profile through the game’s supported account system, then verify that signing in returns to the same server and UID. Avoid uninstalling, clearing app data, or switching platforms while a profile remains a guest. This precaution matters most for Blue Archive and Summoners War, where guest data can be fragile, but it is also useful for keeping your ZZZ account list organized.

Troubleshooting by symptom
The game keeps loading the old account
For ZZZ, sign out completely and check whether you are using an email, social login, or another HoYoverse method. Because those methods can identify separate accounts, changing the button without documenting it can create more confusion. For Blue Archive or Summoners War, confirm whether you are still in a linked profile instead of guest mode before attempting another reset.
The reset option is missing
In Blue Archive, return to the lobby and open Menu → Account; the reset command is located there when supported by the current client. In Summoners War, do not assume a missing command means the account is permanently stuck. The available community reports do not establish one universal menu, so inspect the current account, settings, and sign-out screens and follow the wording shown in your version.
The keeper disappeared after reinstalling
An unlinked guest profile may be unrecoverable after uninstalling, changing devices, or clearing app data. If the game offers account recovery or support, provide the UID and transaction details you recorded, but do not expect a deleted Blue Archive reset to be restored: Nexon explicitly says reset data cannot be recovered.
The account is on the wrong server
In ZZZ, start over on the intended server rather than assuming progress can be transferred; HoYoLAB states that different servers cannot exchange account data. For the other games, check the region and account screen before linking, because account ownership and server selection can affect which profile opens after sign-in.
When you should skip rerolling
- You are happy with the first account’s roles and do not have a specific target.
- The current event gives enough free progression that early summons are less important than simply starting.
- You have limited time and the reroll loop would delay playing the content you actually want.
- You cannot safely create, track, and protect separate accounts.
A reroll is a tool for shaping the opening of an account, not a requirement for enjoying any of these games. The safest pattern is consistent across all three: define a modest target, make one controlled attempt at a time, stop as soon as the target appears, and secure the profile before deleting data or changing devices.
