The usual destination is the shop, though a map may set a different spawn point.
How to reset a vehicle in Farming Simulator 25
- Open the in-game menu with ESC on keyboard or the pause/menu control on your platform.
- Open the map and find the icon for the stuck vehicle or machine.
- Select the icon and choose Reset.
- Check the shop or the map’s configured spawn point for the vehicle.
GIANTS Software’s Farming Simulator Academy: Map & Menu describes resetting a vehicle’s location from its map icon and says it returns to the shop.

Where does a reset vehicle go?
The shop is the standard destination. A map can configure a different spawn point, so if the vehicle is not at the shop, check the map’s designated spawn location. This exception is described in a GIANTS Developer Network forum response.
Does a stuck or flipped vehicle reset automatically?
The Farming Simulator 25 changelog notes automatic vehicle reset for machines that go out of bounds. That is a specific case; the note does not establish that every ordinary stuck or flipped vehicle will reset on its own. Use the map’s manual Reset option for the regular recovery procedure.

Controls and update context
The exact button prompt can vary with platform and input configuration, so use the on-screen prompt rather than relying on a universal controller button. GIANTS Software provides the Farming Simulator 25 Basegame Manual; its manual page does not expose a platform-specific reset-button prompt in the page text.
The GIANTS Software US English updates page lists Update 1.24.0.0, dated September 29, 2026.
