Refund and reallocate passive points
- Speak to Chronomancer Lerinne.
- Choose the option labeled “Respecialize Passive Point Allocations” or similar. The wording may vary by version.
- Select the passive points you want to remove. If you are reducing a multi-point node, a guide reports that you must refund it point by point.
- Review the gold cost displayed in the game and confirm the refund.
- Open the passive tree and invest the returned points in the nodes you want.
What the respec costs
Passive-point refunds cost gold. Guides report that the price can rise with character level and that points may be refunded individually; there is no established current fixed price to rely on. Use the amount shown in the in-game confirmation prompt for your character.
Passive points are not active skills
Lerinne handles passive allocations. Active-skill respecialization uses a separate interface in the skill panel and can have different progression consequences, so do not use its controls when you mean to change your passive tree.
