Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallTo see how much you’ve spent on Steam, sign in to the account you want to check, open Account Details from your account name, then select View purchase history. Steam’s purchase history shows your transactions and a total sum; it is different from your current Steam Wallet balance.
Where to find your Steam purchase history
You can do this on the Steam website or in the Steam client. Steam Support’s route is the same in either place: account name > Account Details > View purchase history. Steam also says you can open the complete purchase history from your current Wallet balance. Steam Support: Steam Sales – Purchasing and billing FAQ
- Sign in to Steam using the account whose spending you want to check.
- Select your account name at the top right, then choose Account Details.
- Select View purchase history to review transactions and the displayed total.
What the displayed total represents
The purchase-history total is a record of Steam account transactions, not the amount currently in your Steam Wallet. A Wallet balance is the funds available now; purchase history is where Steam lists purchases and displays a total sum. Steam Support: Steam Sales – Purchasing and billing FAQ
It also should not be treated as a tally of charges made directly to a bank card. Steam says Wallet funds are used first by default. If you want to pay with another method, change the payment method on the purchase confirmation screen; otherwise Wallet funds will be spent first. Steam says these external charges can differ from the amount shown in purchase history, even when a purchase was made in local currency. If the figures do not match, Steam recommends contacting your payment provider. Steam Support: Unrecognized Charges
