To open Oridys’s Rise in Elden Ring, read the entrance inscription—“Seek three wise beasts”—then find and strike three spectral turtles nearby. Look north of the tower, in the bushes beside the entrance stairs, and in the pond, where the last turtle is invisible. The seal opens after all three are hit; the chest at the top contains a Memory Stone.
Where is Oridys’s Rise?
Oridys’s Rise is on the eastern side of the Weeping Peninsula. The tower entrance is sealed until you solve the statue’s clue, which reads: “Seek three wise beasts.” The wise beasts are spectral turtles located around the tower.
Where are the three turtles?

North of the tower
Look for the first turtle just north of Oridys’s Rise, close to the structure. Strike it to count it toward the puzzle.

In the bushes beside the entrance stairs
Search the bushes next to the stairs leading to the entrance. The turtle is concealed in the foliage, so check around the stairs rather than looking for it in the open.

In the nearby pond
The final turtle is invisible in the pond. Watch for splashing on the water to spot where it is, then strike that spot. Descriptions of the pond’s direction vary with the approach, so use the pond itself as your landmark.
How do you open the tower and claim the reward?
After striking all three turtles, return to Oridys’s Rise; the entrance seal will be open. Climb to the top and open the chest to collect a Memory Stone. It adds one memory slot for a sorcery or incantation.
