To solve the Harvester puzzle in ARC Raiders, find three fusion cores, insert them into the central pillar in quick succession, then destroy all 12 yellow targets that appear. Once they are gone, the central containers open. The Queen guards the structure, but you do not have to kill her to reach the loot.
Where to find the Harvester
The Harvester is a map condition listed on Dam Battlegrounds, Spaceport, and The Blue Gate by the ARC Raiders Wiki, last modified October 1, 2026. Check the in-game map condition to see whether it is available for your deployment; the sources do not establish a dependable spawn schedule or timer.
A November 2025 guide covered Dam Battlegrounds, but that older map list should not be treated as exhaustive. Expect a Queen and other ARC enemies around the structure on any map where the condition is active.
How to complete the Harvester puzzle
- Wait for a safe opening. Avoid entering during a fire discharge. Watch the Queen’s position before choosing an approach, as recommended by Push Square’s guide.
- Collect three fusion cores. The current wiki reference says two are inside containers on the upper level and must be obtained by breaching them. The third is on the floor in the center. Guides may call these items cells or fuses.
- Open the core chambers. Take the cores to the central pillar and interact with its base. Insert all three in quick succession.
- Destroy the targets. The activation produces 12 pulsating yellow targets inside the Harvester. Shoot each one until all are destroyed. Push Square suggests using a pickaxe to avoid drawing the Queen’s attention, but that is optional advice, not a puzzle requirement.
- Collect the reward. When every target is destroyed, the containers in the center open. Loot them before leaving, while keeping an eye on the remaining threats.
How to handle the Harvester’s hazards
Fire discharge
A warning light and sound signal an incoming discharge. Exterior vents open to let players escape; leave the interior as soon as you can. Fire is a lethal environmental hazard, and it may eject cores you have already inserted. If that happens, retrieve them and put them back once it is safe. The wiki also notes a tactical detail: destroying all targets on one side can prevent the perpendicular core from being ejected during the next discharge.

Electrical surge
After the cores are inserted, the Queen can trigger an electrical surge that drains shields and briefly stuns players. The current wiki reference says the surge cannot kill you and can be negated by unequipping your shield; Push Square also recommends removing it. Do not confuse this non-lethal surge with the separate, lethal fire discharge.
Do you have to kill the Queen?
No. GamesRadar+’s Harvester guide says the Queen does not need to be defeated to access the structure’s rewards. You can try to complete the puzzle while avoiding her and other ARC enemies, or spend time fighting nearby threats first. Avoiding combat may be quicker but leaves those threats active; fighting can reduce interference while costing time and resources. Neither approach guarantees a safe run.

The current wiki loot list includes Equalizer and Jupiter blueprints, energy clips, and ARC items; it lists one to three blueprints among possible rewards. GamesRadar+ also identifies the Equalizer and Jupiter blueprints as Harvester loot. These are possibilities, not guaranteed drops: the sources do not provide validated blueprint drop odds.
