To unlock the Sea Beast race in King Legacy, find Neptunian in the cave behind the castle on The Shallow in the Third Sea. Pay the reported one-time entry fee of 100 Sea Artifacts, solve the 4×4 sliding-tile puzzle within five minutes, then speak to Neptunian again and accept the race. Where to find the Sea Beast puzzle
Travel to The Shallow in the Third Sea and enter the cave behind the castle. Neptunian is the character who starts the puzzle. Island travel or teleport labels may vary with the game’s current interface, so use the in-game map and prompts to locate The Shallow.

Start the puzzle and understand the board
Speak with Neptunian and read the prompt before accepting. Community and editorial guides report a 100 Sea Artifacts fee the first time you enter. The puzzle is a 4×4 sliding-tile board with a reported five-minute timer. Move tiles into the empty square until the numbered tiles match their target positions; use the board’s visible numbering and target image as your guide.
Arrange the tiles in a workable order
Keep tiles already placed in position where possible. The King Legacy Wiki describes this sequence for the numbered board:

- Place tiles 1 and 2.
- Arrange tiles 3 and 4 as a pair.
- Place tiles 5 and 6.
- Arrange tiles 7 and 8.
- Use the lower-left snake rotation to position tiles 9 and 13.
- Place tiles 10 and 14.
- Rotate tiles 11, 12, and 15 into position.
Because the board can be confusing to manipulate, another player can help, according to the wiki. The game’s visible board and target image should take precedence if its layout differs from the guide’s description.
If the timer runs out or the board seems stuck
The wiki says a failed attempt can be retried without paying the 100 Sea Artifacts fee again. If you are stuck, retry the board or ask another player for help; the guides do not establish a different cost or reward for those approaches.

A community update page also reports that the board is shared within a server and may shuffle during a Blood Moon, except when a player is on a race mission. Treat that as community-reported behavior and check what the live game shows.
Claim the Sea Beast race
After solving the board, speak to Neptunian again and accept the Sea Beast race. Completing the puzzle alone is not the final interaction described by the guides; return to the character to finish the unlock.

Roblox’s King Legacy listing identifies the game as an RPG by Sea King Games and showed an update date of July 25, 2026 in the inspected result. That listing does not document the puzzle mechanics. The fee, timer, and solution sequence here come from community and editorial guides, not an official mechanics page, so rely on the current in-game prompt if it conflicts with this walkthrough.
