Use Minecraft’s /fill command to create a block-shaped region of TNT. For a 3×3×3 cube centered on your position, enter /fill ~-1 ~-1 ~-1 ~1 ~1 ~1 minecraft:tnt in chat. You need command access, and enabling cheats in a Bedrock singleplayer world permanently disables achievements in that world.
Spawn a 3×3×3 TNT cube
- Open chat and enter
/fill ~-1 ~-1 ~-1 ~1 ~1 ~1 minecraft:tnt. - Run the command. Its two sets of relative coordinates mark opposite corners of the filled region, centered on the command executor.
The /fill command fills a region with the block you specify; Microsoft’s Bedrock command reference documents that behavior. The example applies it to TNT. This example has not been verified in-game across Minecraft editions or versions.

Make the TNT region larger
Increase the coordinate offsets symmetrically to expand the cube around your position. For example, use matching negative and positive offsets on all three axes. The exact accepted block identifier and maximum fill size can depend on the edition or version; the available sources do not establish those limits for every current release.
Enable command access
Minecraft’s official commands guide gives separate setup steps for singleplayer and notes that multiplayer use requires sufficient permission.

- Bedrock singleplayer: In Game settings, turn on Allow Cheats. In that world, enabling cheats permanently stops achievements from unlocking, even if you later turn cheats off.
- Java singleplayer: Enable Allow Commands in the world settings.
- Multiplayer: You need a high enough permission level. If you do not control the server, ask an operator.
If Minecraft rejects the command
Check the command prompt’s suggestions or run /help fill. Minecraft’s guide explains that Tab can suggest command arguments and fill coordinates for commands that require them. Suggestions can help identify syntax supported by the version you are playing; if the example’s block identifier is not accepted, use the in-game prompt to check the expected form.
Command availability and exact syntax can vary by edition, version, and multiplayer permissions. The cited fill reference is for Bedrock Edition, so it should not be treated as confirmation of every Java or Bedrock release’s limits.
