In the United States, the app you need depends on the postseason round: Peacock carries the Wild Card Series, TBS carries the American League Division and Championship Series, FOX or FS1 carries the National League Division and Championship Series, and FOX carries the World Series. For FOX and FS1 games, FOX One is a streaming option; for TBS games, use a TV or streaming package that includes TBS and supports provider authentication. MLB.TV alone does not unlock every U.S. postseason game.
Choose a streaming route by postseason round
The 2026 U.S. broadcast assignments below are based on the FOX Sports postseason guide and FOX’s event pages. Check the current game listing before watching, since matchups, schedules and service terms can change.
| Round | U.S. network | Streaming route |
|---|---|---|
| Wild Card Series | NBC | Peacock. MLB says these games are not available live on MLB.TV in the United States. |
| American League Division Series (ALDS) | TBS | A TV or streaming package carrying TBS, with access through its compatible app or provider login. |
| American League Championship Series (ALCS) | TBS | A TV or streaming package carrying TBS, with access through its compatible app or provider login. |
| National League Division Series (NLDS) | FOX or FS1 | FOX One; FOX Sports’ website or app may also stream eligible games with a participating TV-provider login. |
| National League Championship Series (NLCS) | FOX or FS1 | FOX One; FOX Sports’ website or app may also stream eligible games with a participating TV-provider login. |
| World Series | FOX | FOX One; FOX Sports’ website or app may also offer access with an eligible provider login. |
There is a conflicting round assignment on MLB’s 2026 provider page: its prose and table disagree about which league’s Division and Championship Series air on TBS versus FOX/FS1. FOX Sports’ 2026 guide and FOX’s current postseason pages consistently assign TBS to the American League rounds and FOX/FS1 to the National League rounds, with the World Series on FOX. Confirm the channel shown for the specific game you plan to watch.
Watch on a smart TV
- Check the game listing. Find the game’s round and scheduled network, then choose the corresponding service: Peacock for Wild Card, a TBS-carrying package for ALDS or ALCS, and FOX One or eligible FOX Sports access for FOX/FS1 games.
- Open the service’s app on your TV. Sign in to Peacock or FOX One as applicable. For TBS, use the app and authenticate with credentials from a participating TV provider whose package includes TBS.
- Confirm app availability for your exact device. FOX One lists Roku, LG, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, Samsung, Xbox, Vizio and other platforms. Peacock lists Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, LG, Samsung, Vizio and other devices. Availability and content restrictions may apply.
A compatible smart TV does not need an additional streaming player. Roku is listed as supported by both FOX One and Peacock, so a Roku player is an optional way to add those apps to a TV without them; verify the exact model and app availability first.

Watch on a phone, tablet, or computer
Phone or tablet
FOX One lists iPhone, iPad and Android support; Peacock lists iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets. The TBS app supports iPhone, iPad, Android handsets and tablets, and Fire tablets, but TBS viewing requires credentials from a participating provider whose package includes the network.
Computer
FOX One is available on the web. FOX Sports also describes access to FOX games through FOXSports.com with an eligible TV-provider login. Peacock lists support for Chrome OS, macOS and Windows PCs. For TBS, check the service’s current web and authentication instructions before game day.

What MLB.TV does and does not include
For U.S. viewers, an eligible MLB.TV subscription does not independently provide live access to every postseason game. MLB says select FOX- or TBS-broadcast games require a participating pay-TV provider carrying that network, followed by provider authentication. Peacock-broadcast Wild Card games are not available live on MLB.TV in the United States.
MLB says subscribers can access live audio and full-game archives 90 minutes after a game concludes. Outside the United States, MLB describes live postseason availability on MLB.TV internationally, except in Canada; archives are available on demand 90 minutes after games. Restrictions apply, so check MLB.TV’s current terms for your location and subscription.

Check before first pitch
- Verify the game’s round, network and start time in the current schedule; FOX says World Series first-pitch times are announced closer to the games, and dates may change.
- Make sure your service carries the scheduled network. A package that provides TBS does not necessarily include FOX or FS1, and vice versa.
- Test the app and sign-in on the device you intend to use. Network access can depend on your provider, package, location and device compatibility.
