In Minecraft Bedrock Edition, you can add a baby-related spawn event to /summon—but the event must be supported by the specific entity. There is no single Bedrock command proven to work for every animal. In Java Edition, the command syntax differs, and the official sources cited here do not establish a current baby-animal command for every mob.
Summoning a baby animal in Bedrock Edition
Bedrock’s /summon command accepts an entity type, optional coordinates and rotation, an optional spawn event, and an optional name tag. Its general form is:

Microsoft’s Bedrock event list includes minecraft:spawn_baby and minecraft:ageable_set_baby. Those are event names, not a guarantee that every animal supports them. Check the event behavior for the exact entity before using one. See Microsoft’s Bedrock /summon reference and EntityEvents list.

Why there is no universal animal command
Microsoft explains that events are defined as part of an entity’s setup. An event that an entity does not define may cause unexpected behavior or an unusual state; those outcomes are not intentionally supported and may change. The official example /summon happy_ghast ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ minecraft:spawn_baby is specifically a Happy Ghast example, not a command to copy for every animal. Read Microsoft’s Entity Events documentation before adapting an event to another mob.
Enable cheats or commands
The command requires cheats in Bedrock. For single-player world settings, enable Allow Cheats. In Java single-player, enable Allow Commands when creating the world. The official Minecraft commands guide explains these settings and the general summon command.

What to do in Java Edition
Do not paste Bedrock’s spawn-event syntax into Java: the editions use different command forms. The official sources cited here do not establish one current Java command that summons a baby animal across mobs. A valid recipe needs to be checked against the current Java version and the particular animal; do not assume that a Bedrock event name or an older Java data-tag example will work.
Java single-player commands must be enabled with Allow Commands when the world is created. The Minecraft commands guide gives the general form as /summon <entity> [x] [y] [z], but that form alone does not specify how to make a summoned entity a baby.

Keeping a baby mob from growing up
Summoning and stopping growth are separate mechanics. Minecraft Java Edition 26.1 release notes describe the Golden Dandelion as an item that can stop baby-mob aging and restart it when used again. The notes exclude undead baby mobs and baby villagers. This is a version-specific aging mechanic, not a command for summoning a baby; see the Java Edition 26.1 release notes.
