- Look for more than one way forward. A doorway, adjoining room or looping corridor may be more valuable than a visually obvious objective route.
- Notice places that could break your movement through the area. The game confirms that hiding is part of survival, but it does not certify particular wardrobes, beds, shadows or furniture as safe.
- Identify what you need to investigate before committing to a noisy or exposed approach. If the route appears blocked, the solution may involve perception or hypnosis rather than simply pushing farther ahead.
Keep the objective in mind
Do not let a chase turn into an unplanned tour of the map. Decide whether your next priority is reaching a new room, checking a clue or activating an environmental opportunity. - If trapped, resist only to buy time. A defensive action can put the Stalker out of action temporarily. Do not stop to search the area as though the encounter has been cleared.
- Spend the opening immediately. After a successful interruption, leave the area, conceal yourself or advance the objective. Waiting beside the disabled enemy wastes the only advantage the official guidance confirms.
- Reassess once you reach a new space. Check whether the route is genuinely complete or whether a clue, mirror interaction or moth-related opportunity is needed to continue.

Can I hide from the Red Nun?

Pair hiding with an objective
Use the breathing room to identify the next useful action: inspect a clue, check a previously inaccessible route or move toward a save station. Hiding without a follow-up plan can leave you in the same danger cycle.
What should I do when I am cornered?

The official FAQ lists one difficulty level in its current gameplay information, so do not expect a selectable easy, normal and hard structure based on that FAQ.
The game follows Susan Harper as she searches for her missing daughter at Villa Ashmann. Stormind says this installment was designed to stand alone, so previous series knowledge is optional rather than a stated prerequisite.

Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy released on October 27, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG, according to Stormind’s launch announcement: official release details. An Xbox Cloud Gaming listing is also noted for the PC release, but that does not establish availability in every region or a specific streaming performance level.
A Nintendo Switch 2 version is scheduled for December 3, 2026. As of October 30, 2026, that is a future release rather than an already playable platform.
What is in the physical Deluxe Edition?
Stormind announced a physical Deluxe Edition for PS5 and Switch 2 with Maximum Entertainment as distribution partner. The edition announcement lists a reversible coversheet plus a digital artbook and soundtrack extras. Those additions are packaging and bonus-content differences; no source says they alter stealth, hiding or enemy behavior.
