On PC, open Skyrim’s in-game console and enter prid 000A2C94, press Enter, then enter moveto player and press Enter. This selects Lydia’s reference and moves it to your location. The console method is not available on PlayStation, Xbox, or Switch.
Bring Lydia to your location on PC
- Save your game before experimenting with console commands.
- Open the in-game console. Skyrim’s console-command workflow applies to the PC version.
- Type
prid 000A2C94and press Enter. This selects Lydia’s reference. Her reference ID is also sometimes written asA2C94. - Type
moveto playerand press Enter. This moves the selected reference to your location.
Submit the commands separately, in that order. The first command selects Lydia; the second moves the selected reference.

Go to Lydia’s reference location instead
If you want to travel to the location associated with Lydia’s reference, enter player.moveto 000A2C94 in the console and press Enter. This moves you to her reference location; it is the reverse direction from bringing her to you.
If Lydia still does not appear
A command completing without Lydia becoming visible does not establish why she is missing or confirm that she is alive, visible, or otherwise functioning normally. Likewise, traveling to her reference location may not put you beside an obviously present Lydia. These commands reposition or locate a reference; they are not a diagnosis or a guaranteed repair.

Check that the reference ID is typed correctly and that you submitted the selection and movement commands as two separate entries. The available command guidance does not establish one reliable follow-up fix for every case where Lydia remains missing.
