Roblox’s official way to send Robux from one account to another is its direct-send feature. The sender must have Roblox Plus; the recipient does not. Age checks, parental approval and regional rules may affect whether a transfer can proceed, and once sent, it cannot be canceled or reversed. Confirm the recipient and amount before you send anything.
How to send Robux directly
- Sign in to the Roblox account with Roblox Plus. Roblox’s Roblox Plus information describes the subscription; the transfer requirements are in Sending and Receiving Robux.
- Open the recipient’s profile or go to the Buy Robux page, then start a transfer.
- Enter the amount and review the transfer details, including the recipient, before selecting Send.
- The recipient receives a notification and must accept the transfer. If the recipient is under 16, their linked parent must approve each incoming transfer.
Roblox may hold a transfer until age requirements are completed. A transfer is rejected and returned if it is not accepted, a required parent account is not linked within seven days, a parent declines, or age requirements are not completed within seven days. Some regions require approval for users under 18, so check the current Roblox Support guidance for the rules that apply to the accounts involved.

Limits, eligibility and reversals
Roblox’s current Support guidance, accessed October 8, 2026, lists limits of up to 500 Robux per day and 1,000 per month. Accounts in good standing with 2-Step Verification enabled may qualify for higher limits of up to 5,000 per day and 10,000 per month. Roblox says these limits can change; check its Sending and Receiving Robux page before initiating a transfer.

If direct sending is unavailable
Use Robux gifting to fund the recipient
Roblox’s Gifting Robux guidance describes a link or QR-code flow that lets someone purchase Robux into the requester’s account. It is not a way to move Robux you already own, and its US, age and phone-verification eligibility rules may rule it out. Availability can change, so consult Roblox’s live guidance for current access.
Redeem a gift card on the recipient’s account
A Roblox gift card is another way to add value to the recipient’s account, but it does not transfer the balance already held by the sender. Roblox’s pages cover gift-card redemption; they do not establish current availability or card formats.

Use group payouts only for group funds
Community owners can distribute community funds to members, subject to permissions and Roblox’s periodic fraud-prevention checks. Revenue from group experiences is applied to the group regardless of which member created the experience. See Roblox’s guidance on community clothing, revenue management and payouts and group experiences. This is a community payout process, not a workaround for moving personal purchased Robux.
Avoid risky workarounds
Keep transfers within Roblox’s official features. Roblox does not encourage account sharing: anyone with account access may change its information, spend its currency or trade its items. The company also says it cannot enforce deals made outside official features or return Robux or items lost in those deals. Does sending Robux make it eligible for DevEx?
No. Roblox says direct purchases and gift-card redemptions are not Earned Robux for DevEx. Group payouts count as earned only when the underlying group funds came from bona fide sales, and Roblox checks funds for validity. Moving or gifting Robux does not make it cash-out eligible; see Roblox’s Earned Robux and DevEx guidance.
