Remove EA Javelin anticheat
- Open File Explorer and go to
C:Program FilesEAAC. - Run
EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe. - Select the relevant game, then choose Uninstall to remove Javelin for that title.
- To remove Javelin protection and its files for every EA game on the PC, choose Uninstall All. EA says this leaves the installer itself in place.

Choose how much to remove

Use the narrower option if you only need to remove anticheat for one title. EA warns that any game using Javelin will not be playable until Javelin is reinstalled.
Check whether a game uses Javelin
In the EA app, select the game, then go to Manage > View Properties > Browse. EA says Javelin files will be visible in the folder for a protected game. A game that uses Javelin automatically installs it if it is not already present. See EA’s anticheat support page for details.

If you are removing it to fix an error
EA does not recommend uninstalling Javelin unless there is a problem and a reinstall is needed. For a Javelin error, EA recommends restarting the game first; its support article gives further steps for specific errors. Follow EA’s error-specific troubleshooting guidance before removing it.
Javelin, a game, and the EA app are separate
The anticheat installer removes Javelin; it does not uninstall the game or the EA app. Uninstalling a game or the EA app is a separate process covered by EA’s app and game uninstall instructions. EA notes that removing the EA app can also prevent games and downloaded extra content from being used until the app is reinstalled.

This procedure applies to Windows PC, not consoles or other operating systems. EA’s support guidance says Javelin requires Windows 10 20H1 (version 10.0.19041) or newer; that is a compatibility requirement, not a requirement for uninstalling it.
