In Windows 11, uninstall OMEN Gaming Hub from Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps. Find OMEN Gaming Hub, select the three-dot More (…) button, and choose Uninstall. Confirm the removal when Windows asks.
This is the current Windows 11 label; older instructions may call the same area Apps & features.

Standard method: uninstall OMEN Gaming Hub from Settings
- Open Start and select Settings.
- Go to Apps > Installed apps.
- Search for OMEN Gaming Hub.
- Select the More (…) button beside it.
- Choose Uninstall, then follow the prompts.
Microsoft documents this Installed apps path for Windows 11 and does not limit it to a particular edition, such as Home, Pro, Enterprise, or Education. See Microsoft’s Windows app-uninstall instructions.

Alternative: uninstall it from the Start menu
- Open Start > All apps.
- Find OMEN Gaming Hub.
- Right-click it and select Uninstall.
If Windows does not offer the option or the removal fails, use Settings or Control Panel instead.

Use Control Panel if Settings cannot remove it
Microsoft recommends Control Panel as a fallback when an app cannot be removed through Settings.
- Search the taskbar for Control Panel and open it.
- Select Programs > Programs and Features.
- Right-click OMEN Gaming Hub.
- Select Uninstall or Uninstall/Change, then complete the wizard.
You can open the same list directly by pressing Windows + R, entering appwiz.cpl, and pressing Enter. This Run-command route is also documented in an HP support discussion.
If OMEN Gaming Hub is running
An active OMEN process can interfere with removal. Close the app, then:

- Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
- On the Processes tab, find Omen Gaming Hub.
- Right-click it and select End task.
- Retry the uninstall from Settings > Apps > Installed apps or Control Panel.
If it launches again before you can uninstall it
- Open Task Manager with Ctrl + Shift + Esc.
- Select the Startup tab.
- Right-click Omen Gaming Hub and choose Disable.
- Restart Windows.
- Try the uninstall again.
Disabling the startup entry only prevents automatic launching. It does not uninstall OMEN Gaming Hub. Similarly, turning off notifications under Settings > System > Notifications suppresses alerts but leaves the app installed. HP distinguishes these options from removal in its support guidance.
What to do when uninstalling produces an error
Use Microsoft’s Program Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter when the normal uninstaller is damaged, missing, or blocked. Microsoft does not prescribe a special PowerShell command for OMEN Gaming Hub on its current uninstall guidance, so avoid treating unverified commands as the standard fix.
Remove leftover OMEN components separately
Uninstalling the main app may leave separately installed components. Check Settings > Apps > Installed apps for entries such as:

These are separate installed items, not necessarily part of the main app’s uninstaller. Remove an item only if you intend to remove that component, and use its own More (…) > Uninstall command.

Some HP systems have reported an OMEN SDK-related device or service remaining after the app is removed. The exact names and locations vary by PC; they are not universal Windows 11 requirements.
- To inspect devices, press Windows + X, open Device Manager, and look under areas such as System Devices, Software Devices, or Universal Serial Bus controllers for a clearly matching OMEN/HP SDK entry. HP Community guidance reports that a matching device can be right-clicked and removed with Uninstall device. If Windows offers Delete the driver software for this device, review the name carefully before selecting it.
- To inspect services, press Windows + R, enter
services.msc, and look only for a clearly matching leftover service, such as OMEN SDK Service or HP Gaming Hub SDK. HP reports also show that systems can instead contain names such as OMEN HSA Service, or no OMEN Gaming Hub SDK service at all.
These Device Manager and Services steps come from HP Community troubleshooting rather than Microsoft’s standard uninstall procedure. Do not delete or disable an unrelated HP device or service merely because its name looks similar. Should you manually delete OMEN folders?
Manual deletion is not part of Microsoft’s normal uninstall process. An HP Community response mentions remaining folders under C:Program FilesHP or C:Program Files (x86)HP, but removing folders by hand can leave the installation registration, services, or drivers inconsistent. Use the normal app uninstaller and Microsoft’s troubleshooter first; do not delete an HP folder unless you have positively identified it as an unwanted leftover and understand the consequences.
Reinstalling OMEN Gaming Hub
If you removed the app to troubleshoot it rather than permanently delete it, HP Community guidance identifies the Microsoft Store as a reinstall source, and HP support pages may also provide software for supported systems. Availability and the appropriate package can depend on the computer model, so use the Microsoft Store or your model’s official HP support page rather than an unofficial download.
