Unlock The Coop first
The Coop becomes available after you collect 500 Floor Chickens over the lifetime of your save, according to the developer’s April 10, 2025 announcement.

Unlock Gaze of Gaea
- Start a run on The Coop.
- For one real-time minute at the beginning of the run, do not kill any enemies. The developer’s quick guide states that this is the condition for unlocking Gaze of Gaea.
- Wait for the event to trigger. Altema’s Gaze of Gaea guide reports that the screen zooms and the weapon is awarded. It suggests choosing a character with no attack or damaging starting weapon to make the wait easier; that is a convenience, not a stated requirement.
Evolve Gaze of Gaea into Embrace of Gaea
- Raise Gaze of Gaea to level 8.
- Have Parm Aegis. Altema’s recipe lists Parm Aegis at level 1.
- Open a treasure chest to receive Embrace of Gaea.
The developer announcement also says evolving Gaze of Gaea with Parm Aegis unlocks Gazebo.

If the unlock does not trigger
- Check that the run is on The Coop, rather than another stage.
- Make sure no enemy is killed during the full first minute in real time. A character without a damaging attack can make this easier, according to Altema.
- If the game’s current patch behaves differently, check the in-game Unlocks list: the developer announcement dates to April 10, 2025, while Altema’s guide was updated April 1, 2026, and unlock conditions may change with updates.
