The run begins at the beacon and travels away from the direction you were facing when you threw it. In practical terms, face toward the desired destination of the attack, not toward the beacon’s starting side. What the stratagem does
Eagle Strafing Run sends anti-tank, high-explosive shells along a line from the beacon. Its strength is a fast, directional pass; it is not a broad-area strike. The references label it with Eagle and Anti-Tank traits, but do not establish dependable damage or armor outcomes against particular enemies or structures, so do not treat those labels as a guarantee of a kill.

Compared with orbital attacks in general, Eagle stratagems tend to arrive faster and can be used multiple times before rearming, while often covering less area. Call-in time, cooldown, uses, and rearm
These figures describe separate parts of the Eagle cycle. The Helldivers Wiki lists a 2.4-second call-in, four standard uses, a 15-second base cooldown, and a 150-second standard Eagle rearm time. - Uses: the standard number of Eagle payloads available before rearm.
- Base cooldown: the listed cooldown value for the stratagem; it is not the same as Eagle’s rearm wait.
- Rearm: the wait while Eagle replenishes its payload after the available uses are spent.
Ship modules that can change Eagle Strafing Run
Several ship modules affect Eagle timing or payload capacity. Their precise displayed effects can vary with patches and rounding conventions, so check the Ship Management Terminal for the values in your current game rather than relying on a rounded upgraded cooldown from an older reference.
- Liquid-Ventilated Cockpit: reduces Eagle cooldown.
- Pit Crew Hazard Pay: reduces Eagle rearm time.
- Expanded Weapons Bay: adds one use before rearm.
- Advanced Crew Training: further reduces rearm time when called while Eagle still has uses remaining.
- Morale Augmentation: reduces stratagem cooldown.
