In a guide published August 14, 2024, creator HIGH SPEED PROJECT reported that Head to Head (H2H) became available at account level 6. The guide recommends completing the tutorial, daily objectives, and matches to gain account experience. EA’s current materials do not confirm that level requirement or the same menu path for the 2026 game, so treat level 6 as historical guidance and check your in-game menus.
What H2H is—and what is known about its unlock
H2H, or Head to Head, is FC Mobile’s online 1v1 player-versus-player mode. EA’s current Google Play listing includes 1v1 Head-to-Head among the game’s PvP modes: FC Mobile on Google Play.

The level-6 unlock claim comes from a third-party guide for the 2024 game era, not an EA confirmation: HIGH SPEED PROJECT’s guide, published August 14, 2024. EA’s April 2024 patch notes show that H2H was playable in that version, including League-member challenges, but do not say how to unlock it: EA’s April 2024 update notes.

EA’s support landing page and current store listing reviewed here do not establish whether level 6 remains the requirement in the 2026 build. They also do not establish an exact current menu sequence. Follow the steps below as a way to progress and check availability, not as a guaranteed current unlock recipe.

How to try the reported 2024 unlock method
- Complete the introductory tutorial. The 2024 guide lists tutorials as an account-leveling activity.
- Finish available daily objectives. Claim any rewards or experience they offer; the guide recommends daily objectives as another way to level up.
- Play the matches available to you. The guide also names matches as a route to account experience. Continue until your account progresses.
- Check for H2H once you reach level 6. This is the threshold reported by the August 2024 guide. Look through the current game menus for Head to Head; an exact button-by-button route has not been verified.
If H2H still says it is unavailable
Separate account progression from device eligibility
Account level and device compatibility are different issues. The 2024 guide’s level-6 claim concerns progression. EA says device requirements can affect the ability to play Head to Head, so reaching a particular level may not resolve a compatibility restriction. See EA’s FC Mobile device-requirements guidance for current coverage.
Check current menus and support information
If you have progressed but cannot find or enter H2H, check the game’s current menus and EA’s FC Mobile support page. The reviewed EA materials do not verify the 2026 unlock level or a universal menu path, so do not assume that leveling alone will make the mode available.

What the 2024 feature notes mean
EA’s April 2024 notes said League members could challenge one another to H2H and watch League replays for up to seven days. Those details describe features in that dated game version; they are not instructions for unlocking H2H today.
