The Exchange is a player-run marketplace accessed at terminals in Arrakeen and Harko Village. Use it to browse other players’ listings, sell items from your inventory, and manage completed transactions in My Orders. The key costs to know: 20 Solaris per listing per day, plus a price-based fee, and a 20-offer limit.
Where to find the Exchange
Travel to an Exchange terminal in Arrakeen or Harko Village. Reaching either location takes a trip: Funcom notes that players can pay Solaris for travel or go overland using their own ornithopter. The Exchange is a player marketplace, not an NPC shop catalog; the offers you see come from other players. Funcom’s help article describes the feature and its locations.
How to buy an item
- At the terminal, browse the available player listings.
- Compare the total price with the quantity offered. For stacks, calculate the price per unit rather than comparing totals alone.
- Check competing offers and consider whether buying from a vendor, gathering, crafting, or recycling would be a better alternative for that item.
- Complete the purchase through the Exchange, then check My Orders to manage or claim the completed transaction.
Listings show asking prices, not confirmed sale prices. Stock and prices vary, so check the terminal in your own World before making a large purchase; a price observed on another server is not a dependable current benchmark.
How to list an item for sale
- Bring the item you want to sell in your character’s inventory and travel to an Exchange terminal.
- Create a listing at the terminal and set the asking price and listing duration using the available controls.
- Account for both the daily listing charge and the price-based fee before choosing a price or leaving the offer active.
- Check My Orders to track the offer and claim it if it completes.
Funcom says items from all tiers, including unique items, can be listed. The support article does not document every screen control, so the exact interface may require following the prompts shown at the terminal.

Exchange fees and offer limit
Funcom’s help article lists these mechanics:
| Mechanic | What it means |
|---|---|
| Daily listing charge | 20 Solaris per listing per day. |
| Price-based fee | 2% of the asking price on the first day, then 1% on each subsequent day. |
| Offer limit | 20 offers maximum. Active, expired, canceled, and purchased offers all count toward the limit. |
| Claim deadline | A completed offer expires after 30 days if it is not claimed. |
These are documented game mechanics, not current market prices. Since an unsold active listing still incurs charges while it remains up, a longer listing can cost more even if it does not sell. Check the current in-game terms and your offer status before committing to a duration. Funcom Dune: Awakening Help Center
How to judge a listing’s price
- Compare unit prices: divide the total asking price by the stack quantity when evaluating multiple listings.
- Include fees and time: account for the daily charge and price-based fee over the intended listing duration when estimating what a sale could net.
- Check alternatives: weigh the offer against vendor purchases, gathering, crafting, or recycling where those options apply.
- Use your own terminal: available stock and asking prices are specific to the market you can currently access. Community examples from one server should not be treated as universal values.
There is no supported universal price list in the cited guides; use live listings in your game rather than treating an asking price as proof of what an item is worth or what it has sold for.

Manage and claim completed orders
Open My Orders to follow transactions and claim completed offers. Do not leave a completed transaction unclaimed: Funcom says it expires after 30 days. Keep track of older orders as you manage listings, since expired, canceled, and purchased offers still count toward the 20-offer cap.
