YouTube

YouTube members can access VODs immediately after the live stream, while viewers using the public channel wait for the Monday release.
Which catch-up route is right for you?
Use this comparison to decide without waiting through every release window:
| Route | Earliest stated access | Format | Live chat | Requirement or delay |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Beacon | 7 p.m. Pacific on release day | Full VOD and full podcast | Not part of the stated VOD benefit | Beacon membership; price is not stated in the release guide |
| Twitch live | Thursday, 7 p.m. Pacific | Live video | Available during the live stream | Public live broadcast |
| YouTube live | Thursday, 7 p.m. Pacific | Live video | Available during the live stream | Public live broadcast |
| Twitch rebroadcast | Friday, 9 a.m. Pacific | Rebroadcast video | Rebroadcast chat details are not stated | Next-morning wait |
| Public YouTube VOD | Monday, 12 p.m. Pacific | On-demand video | No live viewing session | Wait until the Monday publication |
| Official podcast | Beacon: release day; ad-supported edition: later parts | Audio | None | Ad-supported Campaign Four episodes are split into two parts |
The practical decision is simple: choose Twitch or YouTube for a free live watch, Beacon for the earliest complete replay, Friday Twitch for next-morning viewing, public YouTube for a free on-demand copy, and the podcast when listening is more useful than watching.

Thursday at 7 p.m. Pacific: live episode
The episode first airs live on Beacon, Twitch, and YouTube. Watching at this time lets you follow the same broadcast as the live audience and participate in the available platform chat. If you are scheduling a reminder, set it for 7 p.m. Pacific rather than relying on a local-time conversion made weeks in advance; daylight-saving changes can alter the corresponding clock time where you live.
Thursday at 7 p.m. Pacific: Beacon VOD and full podcast
Beacon members receive the VOD and the full podcast at the same release time. This is the earliest stated full-episode replay and the only route in the published schedule that combines same-day video with a complete podcast edition.

Friday at 9 a.m. Pacific: Twitch rebroadcast
Critical Role’s Twitch channel rebroadcasts the episode at 9 a.m. Pacific the following morning. Use this when you missed the live show but prefer a scheduled viewing session instead of waiting for an on-demand upload. It is a rebroadcast, not a new episode.
Monday at 12 p.m. Pacific: public YouTube VOD
The public YouTube VOD arrives Monday at noon Pacific. This is the free on-demand checkpoint for viewers who do not use Beacon or a YouTube membership. The Monday timing applies to the public upload; members of YouTube can access VODs immediately after the live stream.
Later podcast parts for ad-supported listening
Campaign Four’s ad-supported podcast does not appear as one same-day file. The release guide schedules part one for one week after the premiere and part two on the following Tuesday at 5 a.m. Pacific. Plan for two listening sessions and keep both parts in order.
Campaign Four: a concrete release example
The current schedule illustrates the pattern with Campaign Four Episode 37. Its live broadcast was listed for Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 7 p.m. Pacific on Twitch and YouTube. The same schedule listed Beacon VOD and podcast access that evening, a Twitch rebroadcast on Friday, October 2, at 9 a.m. Pacific, and the public YouTube VOD on Monday, October 5, at 12 p.m. Pacific.
For the ad-supported podcast edition of that episode, part one was scheduled for Thursday, October 8, 2026, and part two for Tuesday, October 13, at 5 a.m. Pacific. Those dates show how the two-part audio schedule works in practice: the first part lands one week after the live premiere, while the second arrives on the next Tuesday morning.

Use the episode’s own schedule when planning older or newer installments. The weekday pattern is consistent in the published guidance, but a specific episode page remains the best place to verify a date if a special event or schedule change is announced.
How to catch up on Campaign Four
If you want the episode as soon as possible
- Confirm that you have an active Beacon membership.
- At 7 p.m. Pacific on release day, open the episode VOD on Beacon.
- Use the accompanying full podcast there if you want to switch from video to audio without waiting for the ad-supported edition.
The release guide identifies this as member access; it does not publish a price in the schedule information, so verify the current fee directly before joining.
If you want to watch free the next morning
- Open the Critical Role Twitch channel at 9 a.m. Pacific on Friday.
- Join the rebroadcast from the beginning if you want the episode in its scheduled order.
- If you miss that window, move to the public YouTube VOD on Monday at noon Pacific.
If you want a free on-demand video
- Go to the official Critical Role YouTube channel on or after Monday at 12 p.m. Pacific.
- Select the episode’s public VOD rather than a live-stream listing that has already ended.
- Save the video to a playlist or watch history so you can resume across devices.
If you are listening instead of watching
- For immediate complete audio, use the full podcast released to Beacon members at 7 p.m. Pacific on release day.
- For the ad-supported edition, find part one one week after the premiere.
- Find part two on the following Tuesday at 5 a.m. Pacific and play it after part one.
Because the ad-supported version is split, downloading or queuing only the first file will not give you the entire episode.
How to start older campaigns
Older Critical Role material is distributed across legacy and current channels. Critical Role’s official FAQ identifies complete Campaign One episodes on the Geek & Sundry channels and Campaign Two episodes 1–19 there as well. Newer episodes are on Critical Role’s own channels and playlists.
Starting Campaign One
- Use the Geek & Sundry legacy channel for the complete Campaign One episode run identified in the FAQ.
- Check the episode numbering before you begin, because legacy uploads and current playlists may use different playlist layouts.
- After the legacy material, use Critical Role’s current playlists for later content and related campaign episodes.
Starting Campaign Two
- Begin with the Geek & Sundry playlist for Campaign Two episodes 1–19.
- Move to Critical Role’s current channel for episodes after that range.
- Keep a personal episode list so the transition between channels does not cause you to skip an installment.
The FAQ’s channel split is a location guide, not a claim that every related clip or bonus upload follows the same order. For a complete story, select full numbered episodes rather than highlights or short excerpts.

Watching versus listening
Choose video when visual context matters
Live video preserves the table performance, reactions, battle-map work, and community chat. Twitch and YouTube are the options for participating at the Thursday broadcast time, while Beacon and the later YouTube VOD are better when you need pause, rewind, or resume controls.
Choose audio for flexible playback
The podcast is useful for commuting, exercise, or any situation where a screen is impractical. Beacon’s release-day version is a full podcast, while Campaign Four’s ad-supported edition is deliberately divided into two parts. Check that both parts have finished publishing before treating an episode as complete.
Switch formats without losing your place
Note the last scene or timestamp before changing from video to audio. The release schedule guarantees timing and format, not synchronized progress markers between services, so a short overlap is safer than trying to match an exact minute.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Time-zone and reminder planning
Every published time is Pacific time. Convert 7 p.m., 9 a.m., noon, and 5 a.m. Pacific to your own time zone using your calendar or device settings, and review the conversion when daylight-saving rules change. A recurring Thursday reminder should point to the live slot; separate Friday, Monday, and Tuesday reminders cover the catch-up windows.
- Thursday, 7 p.m. Pacific: live broadcast on Beacon, Twitch, and YouTube; Beacon VOD and full podcast for members.
- Friday, 9 a.m. Pacific: Twitch rebroadcast.
- Monday, 12 p.m. Pacific: public YouTube VOD.
- Following Tuesday, 5 a.m. Pacific: second part of the ad-supported Campaign Four podcast.
Keep the date attached to each reminder. “Monday noon” without the Pacific designation is easy to misread when you travel or share a calendar with viewers in another region.
Best Value
- Compatible with Wide Screens - To ensure compatibility with the dual monitor mount, your each monitor must meet three conditions at the same time: First, computer screens size range: 13 to 32 inches. Second, screen weight range: 4.4 to 19.8 lbs. Third, the back of the monitor screen must have VESA mounting holes with a pitch of 75x75mm or 100x100mm.
- Regarding the compatibility with desks - Your desk must meet three conditions at the same time: First, desk material: Only wooden desks are recommended, plastic or glass desks cannot be used. Second, desk thickness range: 0.59" - 3.54". Third, the bottom of the desk should not have any cross beams or panels, as this will interfere with installation. We recommend carefully checking that your desk and monitors meets all above conditions before purchasing.
- Dual C-Clamp Hold - Worried your dual monitors might wobble or slip? Our upgraded base uses a larger platform plus a dual C-clamp structure to lock the dual monitor arm firmly to your desk. Each arm safely keeps your screens steady while you type, click and game—no shaking, no sliding, just a clean and secure setup you can trust every day. It also provides Grommet Mounting installation choice, both options ensure stable and secure fixation for your 0.59" - 3.54" desk.
- Full-Motion Adjustment For Comfortable View - Pull the screen closer when you’re deep in a spreadsheet, push it back to watch videos, or rotate to portrait for coding — moving everything smoothly with just one hand. The monitor stand offers +85°/-50° tilt, ±90° swivel and 360° rotation. Raise your monitor up to 15.75″ to support a healthy sitting posture. Whether you’re working from home, gaming through the night, or switching between video calls and documents, getting the screens to your natural line of sight helps relieve neck, shoulder and back strain so you can stay focused longer with less fatigue.
- Keep Your Desk Organized: By lifting both screens off the desktop, this dual monitor stand opens up valuable space for your keyboard, notebook, docking station or a simple, clutter-free work area. Built-in cable management guides wires along the arms, keeping cords out of sight and out of the way. Enjoy a tidy, modern workstation that looks as good as it feels to use.
What to do when an episode seems missing
The live stream has ended
Do not assume the episode was removed. Check the next scheduled route: Friday at 9 a.m. Pacific on Twitch, then Monday at noon Pacific on public YouTube. Members may already have the VOD on Beacon or YouTube.
The YouTube page shows no public VOD
Verify the day and Pacific-time deadline first. The public upload is scheduled for Monday at 12 p.m. Pacific, so a Thursday or Friday search can return only the live listing or channel archive.
You found only one podcast file
For the ad-supported Campaign Four edition, search again for the second part on the following Tuesday at 5 a.m. Pacific. The two files together make the episode; Beacon members receive a full podcast rather than the split public schedule.
Recommended Free Tools
You cannot find an older episode
Check both channel families. Campaign One and Campaign Two episodes 1–19 are identified on Geek & Sundry’s legacy channels, while newer episodes are on Critical Role’s current channels. Search by campaign and episode number instead of relying only on a general “latest videos” page.
A quick decision checklist
- Want to join the audience live? Open Twitch or YouTube Thursday at 7 p.m. Pacific.
- Want the earliest complete replay? Use Beacon member access at 7 p.m. Pacific on release day.
- Need a free next-morning watch? Use the Twitch rebroadcast Friday at 9 a.m. Pacific.
- Prefer free on-demand video? Wait for the public YouTube VOD Monday at noon Pacific.
- Need audio? Use Beacon’s full podcast immediately, or schedule both ad-supported parts.
- Starting an older campaign? Check the Geek & Sundry legacy playlists for Campaign One and Campaign Two episodes 1–19, then continue on Critical Role’s current channels.
This schedule gives you a reliable path whether you watch in real time, catch up the next morning, wait for the free Monday VOD, or follow the story entirely through audio.
