The simplest way to watch both One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen on a PS5 is through the Crunchyroll app. Open the console’s Media area, install or launch Crunchyroll, and search for each series. Keep your location in mind while checking. A US web page, a friend’s account, or a search result from another country cannot prove what your own PS5 profile can play. The country associated with the PlayStation account and the service account can affect which app and catalog you see. The safest test is always an in-app search while signed in to the account you will use.
Watch both series with Crunchyroll
1. Open the PS5 Media area
- Turn on the PS5 and sign in to the profile you will use for streaming.
- From the home screen, move to Media.
- Open the app area and look for Crunchyroll. If it is not installed, select it and follow the on-screen installation prompts.
The exact app listing can depend on the country set for your PlayStation account. If Crunchyroll does not appear, check the PlayStation Store and your account region rather than assuming the console is incompatible. PlayStation’s entertainment page describes the Media home as the place to choose among streaming services, but it also notes that app availability varies by country.
2. Launch Crunchyroll and sign in
Open Crunchyroll from the Media home and sign in with an existing account or use the account-creation option shown in the app. The available plan and playback choices are presented by Crunchyroll, not by the PS5 itself. Review the service’s terms and current offer in your region before subscribing. Do not assume that seeing an install button means the episodes you want are included without a subscription, or that a plan shown in another country has the same catalog.
3. Search for One Piece
- Use the Crunchyroll search control.
- Enter One Piece and open the series result.
- Compare the seasons or episode groups shown in your local catalog with the episodes you want to watch.
- Open an episode and check the audio and subtitle controls before starting a long viewing session.
Crunchyroll’s official series page confirms the title’s presence on the service, but that page alone is not a promise that every season, episode, language track, or simulcast is licensed in every country. A result may lead to a title page even when a particular season is unavailable for your account, so use the season selector and open an actual episode.
4. Search for Jujutsu Kaisen
- Return to search and enter Jujutsu Kaisen. The official title page uses the capitalization JUJUTSU KAISEN.
- Open the matching series result, not a trailer or unrelated recommendation.
- Inspect the seasons and episodes displayed for your location.
- Open the audio and subtitle menu to confirm whether Japanese audio, a dub, and your preferred subtitle language are available.
The official JUJUTSU KAISEN page establishes that Crunchyroll carries the series as a catalog title. The episodes and language options you can actually play are controlled by regional licensing. Check the episode-level controls instead of relying on a generic show description.
Check regional rights before you subscribe

Use this check before entering payment details:
- Search both titles while signed in to the local Crunchyroll app.

- If an episode is missing, read the service’s availability message rather than repeatedly reinstalling the app. A licensing restriction usually cannot be fixed by changing a PS5 setting.
This step also prevents a common payment mistake: subscribing because a show title is visible, then discovering that the desired season or dub is excluded locally. Netflix is also listed by PlayStation as a PS5 streaming app. You can open Netflix from the PS5 Media area, sign in, and search the titles directly in the Netflix app. Netflix’s official Shonen Anime category lists Jujutsu Kaisen and a One Piece special.

That category listing does not establish that Netflix has the complete One Piece series, every season of Jujutsu Kaisen, or the same audio and subtitle choices in your country. Treat Netflix as a service to verify, not as a confirmed full-series replacement for Crunchyroll. A category can contain a special, a promotional listing, or only selected seasons.
How to verify Netflix coverage
- Open Media on the PS5 and launch Netflix.
- Search for One Piece and record exactly which series, specials, seasons, or episodes appear.
- Search for Jujutsu Kaisen separately.
- Open the title details and inspect the season list and language options.
- Play a sample episode, if available, to verify subtitles and dubbing before assuming the whole catalog is covered.
Netflix’s catalog changes by country and over time, so the results inside your signed-in app are more useful for your decision than a general category page. - Season and episode completeness: Open the season picker and scroll through the episode list. A title card alone does not prove that every episode is playable.

- Existing subscription: If you already subscribe to one service, verify its local catalog first. A second subscription may be unnecessary if it already supplies the episodes and language tracks you want.
Also compare the practical cost, without guessing a number: one service may already be included in your household’s subscriptions, while another may require a new paid plan. One Piece availability and the 2026 Elbaph schedule
For a date-specific update, Crunchyroll News announced on February 17, 2026, that the One Piece anime would continue streaming on Crunchyroll when the Elbaph Arc premiered on April 5, 2026. The announcement says the anime is available on Crunchyroll in sub and dub formats; read the full announcement for that schedule.
This announcement is useful evidence for the dated Elbaph rollout, but it does not settle every country’s rights or guarantee that every earlier episode is exposed in the same catalog. On your PS5, verify the episode list and language menu for your account before treating the announcement as complete local coverage. A dated premiere announcement also should not be read as a promise that all back-catalog episodes, specials, or dubs launch simultaneously everywhere.

Playback controls and language checks
Confirm subtitles and dubbing
Start an episode and open the player’s audio or subtitle control. Select Japanese audio if that is your preference, then choose the subtitle language. If you want a dub, check that the dubbed track is listed for that particular episode; availability can differ by season and territory. Make this check separately for both shows because one title may have a different set of tracks from the other.

Open one episode from each season or major episode group you plan to watch. This catches missing seasons, delayed releases, or language-track differences before you pay for a plan or settle in for a long session. If the first episode plays but a later season is locked or absent, the service’s catalog—not the PS5 hardware—is the limiting factor.
Use the PS5 controller
The DualSense controller handles play, pause, seeking, menus, and subtitles. A Media Remote can make repeated streaming navigation easier, but it is an optional accessory rather than a requirement. The app does not appear
- Confirm that the PS5 is connected to the internet and that you are signed in to PlayStation Network.
- Search the PlayStation Store for the service instead of relying only on the Media row.
- Check the account country. PlayStation states that app availability varies by country.
- Install any pending PS5 system or app update, then reopen Media.
If the service remains unavailable, do not assume that creating a second account in another country is a supported fix. The relevant issue may be app distribution or licensing. Check the service and PlayStation support information for your region.
The series page exists but episodes are unavailable
- Read the in-app availability message; it may indicate a country-specific rights restriction.
- Check another season or episode to see whether the restriction affects only part of the catalog.
- Do not infer full availability from a search result, a web page, or another person’s catalog. Rights are regional.
- Contact the service’s support team if the catalog appears inconsistent with your account region.
A dub or subtitle language is missing
Open the playback language menu on the episode itself. If the track is not listed, the issue is usually the title’s regional licensing rather than a PS5 audio setting. You can still check the console’s system language and TV audio configuration, but those settings cannot create a track the service does not provide.
Netflix shows a special instead of the series
Search the exact title and inspect the result type, season selector, and episode list. Netflix’s Shonen Anime category includes a One Piece special, which is not evidence that the complete television series is available. Use the local Netflix app to establish what you can actually play.

That prompt concerns the service account, not a PS5 fee. Review the plan description, country, and included access on the service’s own checkout screen. Since plans and prices can change, use the amount displayed for your account rather than a number quoted in an older guide. If you already have a subscription, sign in to that account before creating another one.

- Already pay for Netflix? Search both titles in Netflix and confirm the exact episode coverage before adding another subscription.

Streaming access is separate from owning the console. A PS5 can run the supported app, but the service controls account access, licensing, subscriptions, and language tracks. Likewise, installing an app does not guarantee that every title listed on its website will appear in your country. Always judge availability from the signed-in PS5 app.
