Available evidence does not identify the creator or show the route, its earnings, or what the redemptions did, so those details should not be treated as established gameplay mechanics.
What the lumber farm changes—and what it does not establish
Lumber has uses tied to housing decor and profession recipes, according to players discussing the resource on the World of Warcraft forums. That gives gathering a purpose beyond simply accumulating a sale item. It does not, by itself, show that lumber sells reliably, that a particular route is lucrative, or that gathering it is the best use of a player’s time.

The story implied by “WoW Forever” should be read as the title’s description of a renewed interest in retail WoW, not as evidence about a separate project with a similar name. Nothing available connects the lumber stream to that other subject.

How much lumber can a player gather?
One player, BadBoyBrian, reported gathering 105 pieces of Darkpine Lumber in 120 minutes in a post dated December 6, 2025. This is one player’s reported Midnight test, not an official rate or a guaranteed result. The post also gives a separate result of 250 Timber in 17 minutes for a Warlords of Draenor test; that is a different system, so the figures are not a controlled comparison or a sound basis for predicting current Midnight yields. Other players have described gathering points as difficult to spot, yields as low, and collection as time-consuming. Those observations help explain why lumber gathering can feel like a grind, but they are community reports rather than representative drop-rate data. The discussion is here.
Does farming lumber make gold?
The available yield reports do not establish profit. To judge whether a route is worthwhile, a player needs to measure the full loop and the value of what it produces under current conditions—not just count lumber. Auction-house demand and prices can change, and a resource with a crafting or decor use is not automatically easy to sell.

- Track gathering time, including travel and searching for nodes, over a consistent session.
- Note any profession or housing requirements that affect what you can gather or make.
- Check current saleability and crafting use before assigning value to the haul.
- Compare the result with another activity using the same character and time window.
A July 2026 secondary guide lists gathering professions, auction-house sales, crafting orders, dungeons, and housing decor among possible gold-making routes, but it does not make a lumber farm’s income guaranteed or timeless. Its guide to making gold in Midnight is best treated as a set of possibilities to reassess against the game and market at the time you play.
What are Tangia redemptions?
Tangia describes itself as a streaming interaction platform, with features including text-to-speech, viewer interactions, alerts, media sharing, and browser-source support for streaming software. Tangia’s product site documents those general capabilities. Its terms of service define streamers, viewers, interactions, and interactive digital goods, and discuss payouts.

Those platform descriptions do not show which redemption menu a particular creator used, what a redemption cost, or whether it triggered an overlay, TTS, a streamer action, or anything inside WoW. They also do not establish a direct Tangia integration with the game. Without footage or details from the creator, the redemption mechanics in this title remain unknown.

There is no supported basis here for naming a best farm or assigning a reliable gold-per-hour figure. A useful comparison is a small, repeatable test rather than a conclusion drawn from someone else’s session:

- Choose a fixed time window and record lumber gathered, travel time, and time spent locating nodes.
- Record any unlocks or profession setup that affects the route, so the result is meaningful for your character.
- Check whether the lumber has a current use you can access or a realistic sale market.
- Compare the result with another activity over the same time window, accounting for its setup and travel as well.
This makes the opportunity cost visible: a route may be worthwhile for a player pursuing housing materials or enjoying a stream-friendly gathering session even when its gold return is unproven.
