Collect the ten Science Adventures Quarterly volumes scattered across Paradise Island and return them to Redactor Quesnel, west of Fairfield near the Ministry of Accuracy. You can gather the comics in any order, then claim rewards after one, five, and all ten volumes. The quest can begin when you pick up a volume or speak with Quesnel.
How to start and turn in the quest
Find a volume or talk to Redactor Quesnel to get started. He is west of Fairfield, near the Ministry of Accuracy. The volumes can be collected in any order, and you can return to Quesnel as you reach the one-, five-, and ten-volume milestones.
All 10 Science Adventures Quarterly locations
Use the landmarks below to find each comic. The guides differ in how they number some volumes, so the locations are identified by place rather than by relying on a numbering scheme.
- Flooded northwest Westport: Search the bed inside a house. The area around this volume is reported as dangerous, so be prepared for trouble.
- Southern edge of the map: Check the porch table.
- West coast, north of the Ministry of Accuracy: Look outside a derelict fishing shack.
- Coastal path southeast of the northern-island Vox Relay: Enter the Protectorate facility east of the relay, take the lift down, and follow the coastal path to a fishing shack. The volume is on a table.
- Protectorate settlement northwest of Fairfield: Search the small building northeast of the Ministry of Accuracy.
- Fishing shack northeast of the landing pad: The shack is southeast of Fairfield. Look on the bed beside a janitor mech.
- Northern-island farm: Search the small white house west of the Vox Relay.
- Crabbing Tower: Check the top room of the tower, southwest of Sovereign’s Sweet Spire Grove.
- Hilltop building south of Spire Grove: The front door may be jammed; one guide reports Engineering 1 or the Brawny trait as ways to open it. A back door on the right side is an alternative, so those options are not established as mandatory. Raptidons have been reported nearby.
- North coast of the northern island: Find the fishing shack northwest of the farm and check its table.
Rewards for returning volumes
GamesRadar reports the following reward tiers. The perk ranks replace the previous rank as you progress; the stated charge-time reduction is for Companion abilities.
