BAFTA confirmed Interior/Night studio head Charu Desodt as chair of its Games Committee on 27 October 2026. She succeeds Tara Saunders and joins a wider set of committee-leadership changes announced by the academy. Desodt brings more than 25 years in the games industry, including roles connected with Sony PlayStation, Lift London/Xbox, Preloaded and Interior/Night. Has BAFTA announced Desodt’s term length or priorities?
No. BAFTA’s 27 October announcement does not state Desodt’s effective date, term length, handover arrangements or new Games Committee priorities.
