Bam Margera is in the released Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 as a secret skater. His name was missing from an early roster announcement, but that did not mean he was cut from the game.
Why it looked like Bam Margera had been cut
When the initial returning-skaters lineup was announced, Margera’s name was absent. GameSpot noted the omission in a May 9, 2025 report, but also said the reason had not been revealed. An announcement-stage list was not proof that he would be excluded from the finished game.
The official returning-skaters article was published on June 12, 2025. Its announced lineup is best understood as a roster snapshot, not confirmation that every unlisted skater had been removed from the final release.
Activision confirmed Margera as a secret skater
Activision’s official game article later confirmed that Margera would appear among the additional secret skaters, alongside Canadian pro skater Andy Anderson. The article describes Margera as a returning icon with appearances in multiple games. The official launch article, published June 18, 2025, also names him as a featured skater and says he was first revealed at THPS Fest.

- Whether you’re a total casual or a grungy pro, the same smooth handling and simple-to-learn controls from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 will have you shredding like a Pro.
- Shred harder than ever with more challenging goals and an enhanced New Game+ mode.
So the accurate answer for the released game is that Margera is included, but as a secret skater rather than part of the initially announced returning lineup. The cited reporting does not establish why his name was omitted at first.
