That reported warehouse offer was before the set’s October 1, 2025 release date; it does not establish Costco’s current price or stock. Costco’s official US listing is for a bundle, not the standalone set.
What the reported Costco deal was
The product is LEGO Super Mario Game Boy, model 72046. The Tech Buzz reported on September 26, 2025, that Costco and Sam’s Club sold the standalone set for $48.99 ahead of its October 1, 2025 official release. Against the $59.99 price displayed on LEGO’s US product page when checked for this article, that historical offer was $11 less. The comparison uses prices reported at different times and by different sources; it is not a current Costco price check. The Tech Buzz’s September 2025 report and LEGO’s US product page provide the respective figures.
Is Costco still selling the Game Boy set for $48.99?
That price cannot be confirmed as current from the available listings. The $48.99 figure is a historical report of an in-warehouse standalone offer, and Costco prices and stock can vary by location and time. Check with your local warehouse or its current listing before making a trip; the past offer is not proof of present availability.
What Costco’s official listing includes
Costco’s official US listing retrieved for this article is a bundle containing LEGO Game Boy 72046 and Mario Kart – Standard Kart 72032. It is not the same configuration as the standalone Game Boy set in the 2025 warehouse report, so its price cannot be compared as though it were a current standalone price. Costco’s bundle listing identifies both models.
