No official announcement in the cited sources confirms Halo for Nintendo Switch 2. Xbox’s announcement for Halo: Campaign Evolved lists a 2026 release on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, and Steam—not Switch 2. There is an Xbox-published game announced for Nintendo Switch in the 2025 window, but that is not the same as a confirmed native Switch 2 release.
Is Halo coming to Nintendo Switch 2?
Not according to Xbox’s official announcement for Halo: Campaign Evolved. Xbox describes the game as a 2026 release and names Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, and Steam as platforms. Nintendo Switch 2 is not on that list: Xbox’s Halo: Campaign Evolved announcement.

This answers what that announcement confirms; it does not rule out a future announcement. The cited official sources do not establish a Switch 2 version or confirm the specific “Halo and more” claim as a 2025 Switch 2 release.
Which Xbox-published game was announced for Nintendo Switch in 2025?
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4
Xbox Wire announced Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 for Nintendo Switch alongside Xbox, PlayStation, and PC platforms, with a July 11, 2025 release date. The announcement names Nintendo Switch; it does not identify a Nintendo Switch 2 edition. See Xbox Wire’s release announcement.

- GameChat** lets you voice chat, share your game screen, and connect via video chat as you play
That platform wording matters: an announcement for Nintendo Switch should not be presented as confirmation of a native Switch 2 release. Nor does the cited announcement, by itself, establish title-specific compatibility on Switch 2.
Can Nintendo Switch 2 play Nintendo Switch games?
Nintendo says Switch 2 can play Nintendo Switch games, but advises players to check with third-party publishers for compatibility information about specific titles. General backward compatibility therefore does not confirm that every individual game works, or that a game has a native Switch 2 edition. Consult Nintendo’s compatibility guidance and the publisher’s information for the particular game.

What Switch 2 details did Nintendo announce?
Nintendo announced that Switch 2 would launch on June 5, 2025, at a US suggested retail price of $449.99. That is Nintendo’s announced US suggested retail price in 2025, not a guarantee of today’s retail price or availability. See Nintendo’s Switch 2 announcement page.

The cited official announcements do not establish a complete 2025 Switch 2 release slate for Xbox games. They establish a Nintendo Switch announcement for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, without identifying a Switch 2 edition, and a separate 2026 Halo: Campaign Evolved announcement that does not list Switch 2 among its platforms. Treat claims of Halo or a wider Xbox lineup for Switch 2 as unconfirmed unless a publisher announcement names the game and platform.
