Apple store metadata has also shown an expected date of December 31, 2026, which conflicts with the FAQ; treat the developer’s October 12 date as the launch information and check your local storefront for availability.

The United States Apple App Store lists the purchase as Full Game Unlock $12.99. The listing says your progress carries over when you unlock the full version, so the trial is an actual starting section rather than a disposable demo. Google Play confirms the same free-trial-and-permanent-unlock structure but does not show a comparable price in the retrieved listing. Android buyers should open the purchase screen in their own country before deciding what the final charge will be.

Mobile ownership is separate by platform. Buying on iPhone or iPad does not grant the Android version, and buying either mobile version does not unlock a PC or console copy. The same account or store ecosystem should not be assumed to bridge those purchases.
Is the mobile game the same as the PC and console version?
It is best understood as the same core adventure adapted for phones and tablets, not as a guaranteed one-to-one port. The developer says mobile includes “nearly all of the original adventure,” with controls rebuilt for touch, and adds an exclusive AR mode. Google Play cautions that content and presentation may vary compared with other platforms, so menus, visual treatment, or individual details can differ even when the main journey is familiar.

Yes. You can download the mobile app and play until you collect and turn in 25 Shinies to Crow. At that point, continuing requires the one-time full-game purchase. The trial does not include the camera-based AR features, and the full unlock is required for those modes.

Do not buy a mobile copy expecting an existing PC or console license to transfer. The developer’s FAQ treats each platform purchase independently, and it also says saves from PC and console cannot be transferred to mobile.
Will your phone or tablet run it?
Compatibility is the largest practical uncertainty because there is no single performance target published for every mobile device. Apple provides a clear operating-system and model list; Android support is broader but conditional on Google Play requirements.

iPhone and iPad requirements
The Apple listing requires iOS 13 or later and reports an app size of 1.3 GB. Supported hardware includes the iPhone XS and iPhone 11 families and newer models, the third-generation iPhone SE, and specified iPad Pro, iPad Air, 10th-generation iPad, and iPad mini models. The listing’s category wording does not replace checking your exact model, so open the store page on the device you intend to use before downloading.

Android requirements
The developer says the game runs on thousands of Android phones and tablets, but also warns that some devices do not meet Google Play requirements and will be unavailable. The retrieved Google Play page does not provide a complete model-by-model list or a universal minimum chipset specification. Performance can therefore vary with hardware, operating-system version, available storage, background activity, screen resolution, and ambient temperature. Use the free trial as your own acceptance test:
- Play in the same location and with the same display brightness you normally use.
- Walk through busy areas, rotate the camera, and try the activities you expect to repeat most often.
- Watch for sustained stutter, crashes, excessive heat, rapid battery drain, or touch input that feels delayed.
- Close other apps, restart the device, and retest once if the first session was interrupted by background activity.

How do controls, cameras, and offline play work?
Touch controls only
The mobile controls were rebuilt for touch, but the FAQ says controller support is not available at this time. A Bluetooth gamepad, console controller, or wired controller should not be part of your buying plan. If you strongly prefer physical controls, the lack of support is a decisive reason to choose another platform rather than a problem that an accessory can solve.
Internet connection
An internet connection is required to download the app and complete the purchase. After the game is downloaded and the full version is bought, the FAQ says you can continue playing offline. This makes mobile suitable for travel or locations with unreliable connectivity, provided the initial installation and entitlement check have already been completed.

AR and camera access
The exclusive AR mode requires the full unlock and uses mobile camera features. The trial intentionally omits camera and AR functionality, so you cannot evaluate that mode before paying. Check that your device has a working camera and that you are comfortable granting the app the required permission. The availability of AR does not mean every tablet or phone will produce the same visual result; sensors, camera placement, and screen size differ.

Does mobile support cross-save or shared purchases?
No. PC and console saves cannot transfer to mobile. You should plan to start a separate mobile save even if you have already completed the adventure elsewhere. Purchases are separate as well: an iOS unlock does not cover Android, and a mobile unlock does not cover PC or console.
That separation matters most for players who switch devices. Before buying, decide which mobile operating system you expect to keep using. Moving from iPhone or iPad to Android later may require purchasing the full unlock again because the two storefronts are treated independently.

- Check compatibility: verify iOS 13 or later and the listed Apple model categories, or confirm that Google Play allows installation on your Android device.
- Install the trial: make sure the 1.3 GB app can download and that you have additional free storage.
