Yes. The standard GameSir G7 Pro works with Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, but GameSir specifies a wired connection for Xbox. Its listed wireless modes are 2.4 GHz for PC and Bluetooth for Android, not standard-model Xbox play.
Which platforms does the GameSir G7 Pro support?
| Platform | Support and connection |
|---|---|
| Xbox Series X|S | Compatible over a wired connection, according to GameSir’s product listing. |
| Xbox One | Compatible over a wired connection, according to GameSir’s product listing. |
| PC | Wired or 2.4 GHz wireless. GameSir lists 1000 Hz polling on PC through either connection in its product overview. |
| Android | Bluetooth, as listed on GameSir’s product page. |
| Steam | Listed as a supported platform by GameSir; the listing does not give separate Steam connection instructions. |
GameSir’s announcement dated 08/10/2025 summarizes the standard model’s modes as “wired for XBOX consoles, 2.4G wireless for PC, and Bluetooth for Android.” In practical terms, choose it for Xbox if a cable is acceptable; do not assume the standard version pairs wirelessly with an Xbox.
Do any G7 Pro editions work wirelessly with Xbox?
Possibly, but treat that as edition-specific rather than a feature of the standard G7 Pro. A GameSir-official-store search-result entry for a Zenless Zone Zero Edition describes 2.4 GHz wireless support for Xbox. That claim does not alter the standard model’s wired Xbox specification. Before buying, check the exact edition and SKU on its current product page; the search-result description alone does not establish that every special edition has the same capability or that it is currently available.
What features does the G7 Pro offer?

The controller also has a built-in gyroscope, but GameSir specifies gyro mapping as a PC-only feature. Its GameSir Nexus software supports customization including stick curves, dead zones, gyro settings and button mapping. The 1000 Hz polling-rate specification is also presented as a PC capability; neither that rate nor PC gyro mapping should be taken as an Xbox feature.
What should Xbox players know about customization?
GameSir says earlier G7-series faceplates fit the G7 Pro, but a G7 Pro faceplate does not fit other G7 models. GameSir lists a G7 Pro carrying case, joystick caps and compatible G7 Series magnetic faceplates as optional accessories. These are for protection or customization, not prerequisites for Xbox compatibility.

How to assess the manufacturer’s claims
GameSir’s announcement dated 08/10/2025 calls the G7 Pro “the first XBOX controller with Mag-Res TMR sticks, adding Hall Effect triggers, a gyroscope and tri-mode support for XBOX, PC and Android.” That is the manufacturer’s wording, including the comparative “first” claim, not an independent market finding. The announcement also said the Mech White model was available on Amazon in the US and Japan at that time; it does not establish current stock, price or edition availability.
GameSir’s specifications describe features, not independent comparative test results. They do not establish how the controller ranks against other Xbox pads for latency, durability or stick-drift performance.
