Riot’s North America status page showed no recent VALORANT issues or events when checked on October 8, 2026 at 20:31 UTC. That is a time-stamped report for North America—not confirmation that every region, account, client, or connection is working. Check the live status for your region, then follow the support path that matches your symptom.
Current VALORANT status
At the time checked, Riot’s North America service-status page listed VALORANT under “Current Messages / Recently Closed” and displayed “No recent issues or events to report.” The page is a changing snapshot, so check it again for the latest information and make sure you are viewing the region relevant to your account.
The page also showed an October 7, 2026 notice that Teamfight Tactics ranked queues were temporarily disabled while Riot investigated an issue. That notice concerned a different game; it was not evidence of a VALORANT outage.
What to do if VALORANT still is not working
1. Check Riot’s status for your region
Open Riot’s service-status page and confirm the region shown. If Riot lists an active VALORANT incident, use the details on that page for updates. If it reports no recent issues, that only means the page is not reporting a service-wide problem; it does not identify the cause of an individual failure.

3. Contact Riot Support if the guides do not help
The VALORANT Support page offers a “Submit A Ticket” option. Describe what happens, include any displayed error code, and provide logs if Riot’s guidance calls for them. The sources do not establish a resolution time, so use Riot’s ticket updates rather than assuming an ETA.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to interpret a clean status page
A status page answers whether Riot is reporting a service issue for the selected region; it does not test your PC, account, client, or internet connection. The available status snapshot also does not establish how many players were affected or whether other players had the same symptom. For an individual problem, use Riot’s support categories to narrow the next step rather than treating a clean status page as a diagnosis.
