2. Restore the official dependency in a developer project
If you maintain the Java program, restore the JNA dependency through the project’s normal build system rather than copying a DLL. Confirm that the expected JNA version is present at runtime, not merely available to the compiler. A packaged application should include the jar and native resources in the same release that was tested by its publisher.
