Stern Pinball’s John Wick machine is available in Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition versions. Only the Limited Edition includes pieces of John Wick’s suits used in film production, presented as a franchise artifact courtesy of Lionsgate. Stern’s “AI combat” label refers to enemy lights that respond to player behavior—not a claim that the game uses generative AI or machine learning.
What the “AI combat” system does
Stern describes a software system that changes enemy-light behavior in response to a player’s actions. In its May 7, 2024 announcement, the company contrasted this with earlier pinball systems that controlled lights using player actions, timers, and random number generation. Stern also says an action video player reflects the player’s action. The announcement does not establish that the machine uses machine learning or generative AI, so “AI combat” is best understood as Stern’s name for this responsive game system.
Which edition includes pieces of John Wick’s suit?
The Limited Edition (LE) includes pieces of suits used in film production, described by Stern as a franchise artifact provided courtesy of Lionsgate. The suit material is not listed as a feature of the Pro or Premium editions. Stern’s 2024 feature matrix compares the editions’ other playfield, cabinet, lighting, and audio differences; check it for the exact configuration rather than assuming the three versions are identical.
What the game includes
Stern says the game draws on locations and action from the films, including the New York Continental, the Red Circle Club, car-chase and drifting elements, a weapons crate, and the Blood Oath Marker. The manufacturer also lists custom Winston narration by Ian McShane, an original score by Charlie Benante, and original artwork illustrated by Randy Martinez. These are Stern’s product descriptions, not independent hands-on findings.

Availability and buying considerations
Stern’s John Wick product page currently directs visitors to contact the company about availability. It does not establish current inventory, delivery timing, or a fixed current price. Ask Stern or an authorized dealer for those details, and confirm the exact edition and included features before ordering.
For a buyer choosing among versions, the core distinction supported by Stern’s materials is clear: the LE adds the film-used suit artifact, while the Pro, Premium, and LE otherwise have edition-specific configurations detailed in Stern’s feature matrix. Whether the artifact is worth paying more for depends on how much that film-provenance collectible matters to you; verify edition pricing with a seller rather than relying on old suggested prices.
