Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Patch 1.2 added barber services in Zhelejov and Kuttenberg and delivered a broad set of balance changes, combat adjustments, performance improvements, platform-specific fixes, and quest corrections. This guide groups the official notes by what players are most likely to want to know. The notes do not specify every barber option, its price, or any unlock conditions.
What Patch 1.2 changed
Deep Silver describes Patch 1.2 as a package of fixes, improvements, and rebalancing for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. Its most visible addition is a barber feature; much of the rest concerns existing systems, technical performance, platform issues, and quests. The official patch notes are the source for the specific changes below.

Blacksmithing and recipes
Blacksmithing received a general minigame rebalance, with a clearer visual cue for a cooling workpiece. The patch also added horseshoe recipes at merchants and locations, and adjusted recipes and items involving bezoar.
Combat and NPC behavior
Combat changes include increased damage for multi-hit combos, adjustments to combat animations and weapon drawing, and a short delay intended to limit repeated melee attacks when the player is not locked on. The notes also list master-strike damage corrections and fixes involving combat audio, disarming, clinches, enemies, and animal combat behavior.
NPC and crime systems were adjusted as well. The patch fixes perception problems such as characters seeing through obstacles or seeing behind themselves, and includes changes to crime reporting.
Performance and stability
Deep Silver says the patch generally improved performance and stability, optimized Kuttenberg marketplaces and NPC visual streaming, and improved frame-rate stability during battle portions of quests. The publisher also reports that average level-switch duration was reduced by over 15 seconds. That figure is a publisher-reported average, not an independently measured benchmark in the patch notes.

How to interpret these notes now
Patch 1.2 is a record of a specific historical update, not a statement of the game’s current version or compatibility status. If you are troubleshooting today, check the game’s current version and any later update notes for your platform rather than assuming a Patch 1.2 fix describes the latest build. PLAION’s support announcement said Patch 1.2 was live and linked to the full notes: PLAION support.
