In a Famitsu interview, series producer Motoi Okamoto said the company could not share specifics and was looking at “a number of projects.” That describes consideration—not a confirmed release slate.
What did Silent Hill producer Motoi Okamoto say?
Okamoto described the recent releases as a “first wave” and said the series should look toward second and third waves. The interview reporting quotes him as saying, “We can’t share specific details, but we’re currently looking at a number of projects.” The original Japanese passage was not directly available for verification, so the safest reading is that Konami is considering multiple projects and has not disclosed their details. Famitsu’s September 2026 interview also featured Silent Hill: Townfall writer and director Jon McKellan.

Are these confirmed upcoming Silent Hill games?
No. “Looking at” projects does not establish that each has been approved, entered production, or received a release date. The interview reporting does not name the projects, developers, platforms, or release windows. “Second and third waves” is a way of describing potential future phases for the franchise, not a list of announced games.
How does this relate to the first-game remake and Townfall?
Konami’s FY2026 group report had previously discussed ongoing Silent Hill development, including a remake of the original game and Silent Hill: Townfall. That earlier corporate update provides context for the series’ activity, but it does not identify either game as one of the projects Okamoto later referred to. Konami’s FY2026 Group Report therefore should not be treated as a reveal of the unnamed projects.

What is confirmed about Silent Hill 2 remake?
Konami Digital Entertainment reported in 2026 that Silent Hill 2 remake had surpassed 6 million total players. That is a player count, not a sales figure, and it does not reveal what the newly discussed projects are. Konami’s announcement is the source for the milestone.
