Konami released two soundtrack-preview videos on September 30, 2024, eight days before the Silent Hill 2 remake launched. TechRaptor reported that the videos ran for almost 100 minutes combined and featured excerpts from 187 tracks—not full versions of the soundtrack.
What Konami released
The two videos were previews of music from the remake, composed by Akira Yamaoka. TechRaptor counted 187 tracks across the videos and described them as preview excerpts. The nearly 100-minute total refers to the combined video runtime, not a single full-length soundtrack album. TechRaptor’s September 30, 2024 report

Where to listen to the soundtrack
The available reporting establishes that the preview videos were released and that a contemporaneous report listed November 20, 2024 as the planned soundtrack release date. That was a historical schedule, not confirmation of current availability. The sources cited here do not establish whether the album is currently available on a particular streaming service or for purchase in a given country.
Preview videos versus the soundtrack
The videos offered a way to hear short previews ahead of the game’s launch; they should not be treated as the complete versions of all 187 tracks. The soundtrack album was reported separately, with a planned release date of November 20, 2024. The cited sources do not confirm the album’s present-day availability, formats, or regional listings.
