Some League of Legends players have reported trouble downloading replays on EUNE, but Riot has not confirmed a region-wide replay outage. Riot’s EUNE status page showed no recent League of Legends issues when checked; that does not rule out an intermittent or account-specific client problem. First check whether the match is still eligible for a replay, then retry Riot’s in-client download controls.
What is known about the EUNE replay reports?
Search results include individual player posts titled “Cant download replay of the game” and “Unable to download & play Replays.” Other posts describe the Replay control staying in an availability-checking state, while a separate report concerns the PBE environment. These are anecdotal reports, not confirmation of an EUNE-wide incident or a diagnosis for the live client.
Riot’s EUNE service-status page showed no recent League of Legends issues or events to report when checked. Because the page is a live service indicator, check it again if the problem continues: its listing cannot rule out a newly emerging, intermittent, or player-specific issue.
Check whether the match is still available
Riot says replays remain available for the length of a patch cycle and expire once the client patches forward. Its FAQ also says only the last 20 games are available in the client. A match outside either limit may no longer have a replay available to download.

- Check whether the game is among your last 20 games in the client.
- Consider whether League has patched forward since the match was played. If it has, the replay may have expired.
These are Riot’s stated availability limits; they do not identify the cause of a download failure for a match that should still be available. Riot’s Replay FAQ, published March 27, 2026, explains the patch-cycle expiry and match-history limit.
Try Riot’s official replay download workflow
Riot says replays can be downloaded from either the End of Game screen or Match History. After the .rofl file downloads, the client displays a “Watch Replay” control.

- After a game, use the replay download control on the End of Game screen; or open Match History and use the download control for the eligible match.
- Wait for the .rofl file to download, then select “Watch Replay” in the client.
If the control remains stuck or the download fails, retrying through the other official entry point can help establish whether the failure is limited to one screen. Riot’s reviewed guidance does not say that this retry will fix a persistent failure.
Where to check status and get support
If an eligible replay still will not download, check the current EUNE status listing for new notices. Riot’s League of Legends Support index lists technical help, including Fix My League, basic connection troubleshooting, and the Riot Repair Tool, as well as a route to submit a support ticket. The index does not provide a replay-specific diagnosis on the page reviewed.

If you contact support, describe the match date, the client behavior, and whether the error occurs from both the End of Game screen and Match History. This gives support concrete details without assuming the issue is caused by EUNE service conditions.

The available reports do not establish a failure rate, an EUNE-specific outage, or a confirmed fix. A generic network change, reinstall, third-party tool, or hardware upgrade is not established as a remedy for this replay problem. Use Riot’s status and support guidance rather than treating community posts as an official incident notice.
