How do I build around my favorite Friend?
Start with the Friend you most want to keep, then make the witch’s skills and the rest of the roster support that Friend’s element. Use the following process whenever you change a favorite, unlock a new skill or improve your equipment.
1. Identify the favorite’s element
Check whether the Friend you want to build around is Fire, Wind, Water or Lightning. Then inspect the witch’s currently equipped skills and note their elements. If a suggested Friend is absent, replace it with another owned Friend of the same relevant element and compare the bonuses again. How should I build a Wind team?

Reevaluate the whole interaction between witch, skills, Friends and equipment whenever one of those systems changes.
