A detailed location guide places it in Bleu Sector 3, where it is a rare nighttime spawn. Litwick evolves into Lampent at level 41; use a Dusk Stone on Lampent to evolve it into Chandelure.
Where to find Litwick
The Lumiose Pokédex lists Litwick in the southern Lumiose Sewers. Nintendo Life’s Lumiose Pokédex guide gives the broad location, while All Things How’s Litwick location guide narrows it to Bleu Sector 3, south of Lumiose, between Wild Zone 5 and Wild Zone 12.
Find the sewer entrance
According to All Things How, purple goop blocks the entrance. Bring a Pokémon that knows a Water-type move to clear it. The guide reports that Litwick appears at night and is a rare spawn, so you may need to search more than once. It suggests leaving and re-entering the sewers to reset encounters.
When you can access the sewers
All Things How places the first sewer visit around Main Mission 19, “Reaching Rank D,” and warns that the story access window may close afterward. The same guide reports that completing Side Mission 57, “The Camerupt Entrepreneur,” permanently reopens the sewers. This unlock detail comes from a secondary guide.

Side Mission 85, “Follow Litwick!”, offers a separate quest route: Thonky’s walkthrough says the mission becomes available when Main Missions 27, 28, and 29 become available. During the mission, follow Litwick to a sewer entrance by the canal and continue to the northwest room. That quest route is not evidence of a permanent general-access unlock.
How to evolve Litwick
- Evolve Litwick into Lampent: Level Litwick up to level 41.
- Evolve Lampent into Chandelure: Use a Dusk Stone on Lampent.
Nintendo Life’s Pokédex listing confirms both steps. The Pokémon Company International’s general adventure guide notes that leveling can raise a Pokémon’s stats and enable evolution. Caught, evolved, or traded Pokémon are recorded in the Rotom Phone Pokédex.

Does Chandelure have a Mega Evolution?
The detailed All Things How guide mentions Mega Chandelure and a Chandelurite. The Pokémon Company International’s overview confirms the general Mega Evolution mechanic and says Mega Stones can be obtained at places such as the Stone Emporium or exchanged for Mega Shards at Quasartico Inc. headquarters. It does not establish how to obtain Chandelurite specifically, so treat the item-acquisition detail as unconfirmed here.
