If Home Field Advantage or Dynamic Gameday Momentum still appears after you turn it off in Madden NFL 24 Franchise, first verify the toggle in Franchise League Settings. Players have reported that the meter or gameplay effects remained despite the setting being off, but EA’s forum response did not confirm a fix. If the mismatch continues, document exactly what remains and report it to EA.
Check the Franchise League Settings toggle
Madden NFL 24 coverage described a League Settings option for turning Dynamic Gameday Momentum/Home Field Advantage on or off. EA forum replies likewise point players to Franchise League Settings. Open the League Settings for your Franchise and confirm that the toggle is off; the relevant control is a Franchise league setting, not a general gameplay slider.

Operation Sports’ July 27, 2023 coverage described the toggle. Its platform list for Madden NFL 24 included Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
Identify what is still happening
Reports in an EA Forums discussion describe more than one symptom: some players said the momentum bar or menu remained visible, while others said the gameplay effects continued. Those are different problems to report. A visible meter alone does not establish that the gameplay effect is still active.

- Record whether the setting is off in League Settings.
- Note whether only the meter or menu appears, or whether you also notice gameplay effects.
- Include whether the issue occurs in Franchise or another mode, and whether it remains after restarting or re-entering the Franchise. These details can help describe the case; they are not confirmed fixes or known causes.
If it persists, report it to EA
The EA staff reply in the discussion asked players for details to investigate, but did not provide a confirmed workaround or resolution. If the setting is off and the symptom persists, send EA the information it requested:
- Your platform and region.
- The game mode and when the problem started.
- What you have tried and any error message.
- A screenshot or video clip showing the setting and the symptom, if possible.
- A DxDiag report if you play on PC.
EA’s Madden NFL 24 support page links to community and customer support resources, but does not document a specific resolution for this toggle issue.

What is known about the issue
Forum participants described examples on Xbox Series X and PS5, but those reports do not establish that every platform, Franchise save, or player is affected. The available official materials do not verify whether the issue has since been fixed or remains active across platforms. Avoid deleting cloud saves, reinstalling the game, or changing unrelated sliders as supposed solutions: the cited sources do not support those steps as fixes.
