If Madden NFL 24’s Superstar menu is missing, first check which edition is installed. EA says Superstar is not included in the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One versions; EA lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC as supported platforms. On PS4 or Xbox One, the missing menu is expected for that edition—not, by itself, a sign of a broken installation.
Which Madden NFL 24 editions include Superstar?
EA’s Superstar deep dive states that Superstar modes and features are unavailable on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. EA’s accessibility guide also distinguishes the menus in the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions from those in the last-generation versions; the guide is for the English, US-only game. EA identifies PC as a supported platform as well.

On a console that can run more than one generation’s edition, check the installed game version rather than assuming it matches the console generation. EA’s historical support discussion specifically advised players to verify which version they had installed.
How to enter Superstar on a supported edition
- Launch Madden NFL 24 and go to the main menu.
- Select Superstar.
- Create a new Superstar, or import an eligible Road to Glory player from College Football.

If you own PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC and still cannot access it
Work out exactly where the problem occurs before trying fixes. EA’s historical “Unable to Access Superstar Mode” support thread asked whether the Superstar tile was missing, an error appeared immediately after selecting it, or the issue happened only in a subsection. That is useful information to report, but it is not a confirmed diagnostic tree for current failures.
- Tile missing: Confirm the installed edition and platform first.
- Error on selection: Record the exact error text and when it appears.
- Error in one subsection: Note which one—Career, Leagues, Showdown, or Customise—and whether other Superstar areas open.
Then use the EA Help Madden NFL 24 support hub to troubleshoot or contact support. Include your platform, installed edition, the point where access fails, and the exact error message. The cited sources do not establish a current cause or a universal fix for every supported-platform access problem.

What EA’s older fixes do—and do not—tell you
In a launch-era forum update, EA community manager EA_Kent said, “The initial issue that was causing problems accessing Superstar back at launch was fixed.” That is a historical status report, not evidence that a current access problem has the same cause or that service is currently error-free.
EA’s October 4, 2023 title update notes list specific Superstar bugs that were fixed: progression loss after idling and receiving a timeout error, missing rewards after completing the Combine and Draft, and a return to the main menu instead of the Superstar Launcher after a weekly game. Those fixes document past bugs; they do not identify the cause of a present-day missing menu or access error.

The support thread also asked whether disabling Controlled Player Art helped during its launch-era investigation. The cited material does not confirm this as a reliable fix, so do not treat it as an established solution.

EA’s historical forum reply described Dual Entitlement terms and said progress, purchases, and items did not carry over. Those terms are not proof of current eligibility or upgrade conditions. If you need a supported edition because you own PS4 or Xbox One, check the current purchase and upgrade terms for your specific game and account before buying or switching; current eligibility is not established by the cited sources.
