Magic: The Gathering | Avatar: The Last Airbender is already out: Wizards of the Coast released the set worldwide on November 21, 2025. The MTG Arena release was November 18, 2025. The official lineup includes boosters, bundles, Scene Boxes and a Beginner Box built to teach new players.
When did the Avatar: The Last Airbender MTG set come out?

What do the TLA and TLE set codes mean?
Wizards distinguishes the main set, coded TLA, from the eternal-legal set, coded TLE, in its collecting guide. The guide says TLA cards are legal in all formats. TLE cards are legal in Commander, Legacy and Vintage; an individual TLE card is also legal in another format where that card was already available. Since legality can change and applies to individual cards, check the current format rules before using a specific card in an event.

Firebending converts an attack into red mana for that combat. When a creature you control with firebending attacks, you add red mana equal to its firebending amount. Wizards mechanics author Matt Tabak describes it as: “Whenever a creature you control with firebending attacks, you add that much red mana.” The mana is not lost during that combat, as explained in the official mechanics article.
