The Sporting News tracker, published July 31, 2025 and modified August 13, 2025, reported the following leading rookie overall ratings from EA Sports:

All figures above are video-game overall ratings reported by The Sporting News in 2025, not real-world performance statistics. The available source does not provide a current, complete Madden NFL 26 attribute-by-attribute database.
When were Madden NFL 26 rookie ratings revealed?
The Madden NFL account announced on July 30, 2025, “All rookie ratings are dropping today!” The Sporting News tracker recorded that reveal and reported the ratings the following day. Its Madden 26 ratings tracker is the source for the table above.

What the OVR rankings do—and do not—tell you
OVR gives a single overall score, so it does not by itself describe every attribute or how a player fits a particular in-game role. Hunter’s WR/CB listing makes position context especially relevant: his reported rating is attached to a player listed at two positions, while Jeanty is listed as a running back. The cited tracker supplies this top-rookie group, but a complete current official Madden NFL 26 ratings database is not established here.

EA’s current Madden ratings hub now routes its Rookies link to Madden NFL 27. EA published its Madden NFL 27 ratings recap on July 31, 2026, confirming that a later rating cycle followed Madden NFL 26. Do not treat the 2025 table above as the current edition’s rookie rankings.
